Quick update - numbness: I also realized today that I do have local numbness at my incision sites. I’ve been avoiding touching the incision area as there are still some stitches slowly healing, so I didn’t really realize this until today.
I feel like this is a very common thing from everything I’ve read, and expect sensation to hopefully improve slowly over the next year or beyond.

This is normal. I think I had this occasionally in the very early stages. Everyone heals differently!
Born 1990. ED since age 20 after a bicycle accident. Coloplast Genesis malleable implanted December 2024 by the great Dr. Laurence Levine in Chicago.

Yeah Hakky mentioned this as well. Indicated to me that it could take some time but was expected.

Re: Johnnyborg’s Malleable Journey
WEEK 4 - Update:
I honestly can’t believe it has been 4 weeks since rods were placed in my dick
overall, I’m doing very well.
Pain: vast improvements across the board. Only remaining pain is some sensitivity and soreness at the incision site, sensitive glans, and one spot on the right side of my penis where the most swelling had occurred after surgery.
Peeing symptoms, etc: all the stuff I mentioned that was bothering me in terms of urination is pretty much gone.
Stitches: just waiting for two more to fall out.
Scar: the scar looks good on right side of penis. Left side I feel has lagged behind quite a bit. It’s also where the two stitches remain though, so just needs some time to keep healing up.
Comfort, clothing, and concealability: this is the last major milestone for me to get past the early part of my journey. I’ve been experimenting a lot with bending, different underwear, how to stow the malleable, and what kinds of pants to wear. I will admit: this is indeed a battle for me right now (battle of the bulge?). I am a bit nervous and admittedly hyper-fixated on the fact that in certain situations, my malleable becomes a bit more “apparent” in my eyes visually. It’s easy to say that because I’m the one attached to it, that I’m very aware of how it looks in pants, how it looks while moving around, leaning in certain positions, etc. But I do worry that others will notice… and I really don’t want to be “highlighting” an obvious bulge to be honest.
Other challenges include keeping the implant “down” when going from sitting to standing, and also while shifting positions while sitting on the couch. Compression boxers are helping a ton, but I do notice that when sitting down, the malleable wants to “coax” its way back up to a 4 o clock position or so. Which makes the transition from sitting to standing not fun, and could be POTENTIALLY embarrassing if you aren’t able to subtly correct it.
I knew this last part would be one of the biggest challenges with the malleable. Now that I’m actually here, I’m experimenting with many methods to try and conceal it but must admit it’s got me a bit anxious. I had some great early successes but to be honest, as I’ve moved around more with the malleable stowed in clothing, I really haven’t “beaten” the bulge yet. There is a part of me already slightly worried about the choosing of the Rigi10 over the Genesis. The concealability of the Genesis is notably better, as seen in numerous bend test videos and journals here on FT. My Rigi10 bends, but it definitely doesn’t hit the same angle as the Genesis. Pre implant, I didn’t think this would be a significant difference, but I must admit that now that I’m working on concealment, I really could use the extra bendability of the Genesis!
The war continues.
Hoping I’ll be cleared for sex at the 6 week mark! Going forward, I plan on switching to just weekly updates + occasional thoughts and any replies to questions. For any prospective malleable patients, I hope the daily documentation of my experience up through Week 4 has been helpful!

Re: Johnnyborg’s Malleable Journey
I have 2 friensd who did rigicon in August
The hinge is loose for him now
He can move it in any direction and conceal
It
His only concern right now is women on top posotion
He feels the rods wont withstand it
Other than that everything is good for him

Has he tested it yet with a women in cowgirl? Or just speculating that it might be too floppy / worried it might buckle?
