I might be being picky here but an immune system that is bolstered with antibiotics for infections is far better than the immune system that evolved for millions of years.

That said I agree that intrinsically its better to have a reliable natural erection if that is indeed what they have. If only for the avoidance of surgery.

Thanks to antibiotics, they're great... until they fuel the full-blown evolution of superbugs.

Agreed. I was being sarcastic in my own reply, too. What sambalamba is committing is what philosophers call the Naturalistic Fallacy. Basically it's the argument that natural things are inherently superior to engineered things because they emerged organically over time. But I really like things like shoes, antibiotics, and contact lenses.
Born 1990. ED since age 20 after a bicycle accident. Coloplast Genesis malleable implanted December 2024 by the great Dr. Laurence Levine in Chicago.

Duke, The main point I was trying to convey is that my deep appreciation for medical-grade penile hydraulics didn’t just come from a love of human engineering; it came from my 'millions of years of evolution' dick deciding to go on permanent strike.

If the original equipment were still doing its job, I’d be blissfully ignorant of what a penile implant even looks like.

We only start praising the 'engineered' solution once the 'natural' one leaves us stranded on the side of the road. I’m not saying nature is inherently superior; I’m saying I’d trade all the high-tech silicone/bioflex in the world for the factory-installed version that didn't require a user manual and a surgeon. But since my biology resigned, here I am, suddenly a very big fan of human ingenuity."
55 years. Using bimix 0.4 units. Works well but inconsistent and very inconvenient. Seriously considering an implant. 6.4 inches bone pressed length to tip, 5 inches girth base, 4.5 inches girth mid-shaft.

Can you explain to me why you want to compare an IPP to an erection that only exists in your memories & dreams.

I'm thinking that I'm wasting my time replying to your posts. No matter what is told to you. You can't accept the truth as posted by many members besides me.

Part of first responder training is knowing when to stop trying to rescue someone. Sometimes a rescuer has to admit that he can't help a drowning man. So you have to decide to just let him drown. Can you be rescued or should the forum allow you to drown?

I m crying my guts out best respond :D
51 years old. Lived with ED for 20 years.
Pills stopped working. Trimix helped, but injections weren’t sustainable.
Coloplast Titan IPP implanted January 8, 2026 -20 cm.
Grateful, moving forward.
