Today's the day!

Postby Azchris » Thu Mar 26, 2026 8:30 am

Well, im on my way to the surgical center right now. I was posed to have this done Jan 13th, it was rescheduled by dr, but I'm grateful for the extra time to research and pray about it more. I am nervous but I have alot of peace right now. Im in the hands of a very experienced surgeon as well. Thank you to all the men on here for sharing your journeys and for the ones I spoke to privately. Im trusting the process and preparing myself mentally. The freedom that will come with no more shots and spontaneity back in my marriage is exciting. Ive done so much research in the last year and im trusting this will be a game changer! It is bitter sweet tho saying goodbye to the only erection ive known even if it has been thru shots for a while now. Much love and God bless you all.

Azchris,

All the best as you start this new journey. I hit 9 weeks post-op yesterday, and it gets better each day. Since you've done a lot of research, you know what to expect.

I went through shots that ultimately failed, and now I can have an erection whenever and for however long I want it. Game changer! Once past the initial recovery period, you'll never look back.
