Congratulations on taking the leap of faith it’s a big step but I’ve heard that Professor Ralph is one of the best.
I’m currently under the care of another NHS Andrologist and using the injections which to be honest aren’t working that well for me. I’m thinking about asking my andrologist if we can look at implant surgery. As I said, I’ve heard that Professor Ralph is the most experienced surgeons in the UK and if I had a choice I’d like to get it done with him.

Did you face a long wait from when the decision was made to have the surgery and were you automatically referred to Professor Ralph or did you get any choice over surgeon?

Hi and thanks!

I specifically requested referral to Ralph. Made sure I met him in person. He did the surgery. (Or at least part of it!) I'm told he did all of it.

My situation was a little different as I was invited in to do the Rigicon trial. So I was told a month in advance. Otherwise I think the wait is about 6 - 9 months. But could be more or less depending on demand at the time.

Explore the injections as far as you can. Look at increasing dose.

I tried everything first, for peace of mind more than anything. I actually have a new Vertica machine. Now I'm implanted I don't think I have a use for it so I can sell that with a decent discount. Lmk if you're interested.

Thanks for the info and the advice. I’ll try experimenting more with the doses and see if bi/trimix work better. Given a choice between injections and an implant, the implant seems like a much better option…much less faff and erections on demand.

I’ll do some research on the Vertica machine. I’m not sure the evidence is there yet for it though.

Hope all continues to go well for you.

Implant is permanent. No turning back. If for nothing other psychologically you should try every alternative thoroughly so there are no regrets once it's in.

Vertica did have some effect for me. Made my dick feel more "alive". Better morning erections. Worth a go I think. Might give you a few more years perhaps.
Mid 30s. UK. ED since mid teens. Done the pills, injections, P Shot, Gainswave, ESWT shockwave.

Now preparing to take the plunge under care of Professor Ralph at UCLH. Planning on a Rigicon Infla10 AX with Pulse pump.

I still take a daily dose of ibuprofen 200. Mainly after my first morning cycling which leaves me sore. My second one surprisingly does not.

Good to hear your glans engorgement is back. Trust me itll get better when you cycle and your maxing out. Itll be super engorged—no more venous leaking out.

Man i couldnt follow my docs advice and ended up rubbing one out with just stimulating the upper half. Had a lot of fluid built up when i released. That was at pod 15 i think. My horniness got the better of me. Will follow strictly on sex though as that for sure is more an infection risk. The masturbation his main concern was the suture/incision and the skin being pulled so i got creative hahaha. Trust me i can relate. Im on trt so my libido is sky high.

Get the urofill. Ive gotten it. Wife loves it. Its expensive though. Gained close to half an inch on it at most..

Currently my base girth is at 6.5, mid shaft 5.75. So its stretching out now. I was 6.5 base and 6/6.25 mid before with the filler. Natural i was 0.5 less if i recall. Length has yet to recover.
What size you measuring now?

Hope you get cleared soon. In 2 weeks im restarting ved therapy.

Yeah glans engorgement is def back. That's a relief I was worried about that and floppy glans. I think that my glans and dick in general will straighten out. Length I'm pretty much already back. Just waiting on girth now but even that seems to already be improving.

I just urgently need to jam it into something hot wet and warm. And ideally moaning. I'm really having a hard time not rubbing one out.

Did you get UroFill post implant? If so how soon after? Rowland Rees does it here and he's a good andro doc. There's another one called Androfill. Curious what that's like.

We're about the same size. How much did you pay? Hyalauronic acid, even just for the size for lips is expensive.
.

Oh wow thats great your length is back. Youre back to 7 inches already!! Im still 6.4 inches. Got at least 0.6 inches to 0.8 inches to go. My girth is mostly back though. Its interesting how were very similar and yet our progress with cycling differed haha. Man its like 700 usd per unit here. Its expensive. And for our length, youll need around 12 for the initial session alone.

Ill be happy once i get my 7 inches back. I think ill get there considering we have the same device are close in age, and have about same results. Just need to get back to ved next week!! Man i cant wait to have sex next week!!! If my surgeon clears me. Otherwise everythings looking good so far. My mid shaft girth is back to 6 inches already.

I'm still about half an inch off my length but I'm sure that'll come back. Girth is taking longer. I'm more concerned about the angle of my glans than anything. I'm struggling to see how that straightens out tbh.

Was cleared for cycling today. Would be fine if it weren't from the lingering pain from when the drain was removed. Had docs assistant pump and deflate me today and I've been in agony from that drain injury (whatever it was) ever since.

Ended up going to A&E for it. Pisses me off actually. Isn't removing drains standard procedure for a nurse? I'm sure she's gotten something wrong. Been stinging pain for two weeks.

How are you finding deflating? Inflating is painful and slow going but I'm finding deflating impossible. I think the Rigicon deflate button design is terrible. Makes no sense that you apply pressure to the smallest surface area of it. Its jumping all over my ball sack. It should be the other way round. You should press the long flat side obviously.

Youll get used to it. Inflation i use 2 hands. Right fingers around pump, left hand around right hand and squeeze. With our ax, well need a lot of pumps. Pumping as much as 80 to get to my tolerated max. Now these are not super full pumps, so the past couple days ive almost maxed at 60-70.

Once cleared a hot tub will help a lot. Im not cleared until 5 weeks out. Do the deflation in the hot shower when your balls are loose. Mine points backward so i know how to orient myself. I use my left hand to hold the bulb while right hand squeezes.

Ill be cleared for sex end of next week. So gotta wait!!! No ved for 8 weeks. Im super stoked with my girth already and rigidity.

My tips are not perfectly aligned and my glans symmetry is slightly off when not engorged. When engorged it looks normal. Flaccid it looks normal too.

Hope youre happy so far!:) im glad you got your 6.5 inch dick back. Im getting there soon!!!

Cycle cycle cycle.
Became bionic 3/2026. Hakky - rigicon infla10ax 23 cm (22+1 rte). Chronic ed - tried pills, ved, bimix/trimix. Had mild venous leak on doppler. Took the plunge when ultrasound showed fibrosis and i knew it was only a matter of time before i needed one
