In some of my reading, I have seen two things that I suppose must be wrong: 1. Some of the literature says that with the MS pump, you hold down the deflate button for four seconds and then you can release and they make it sound like the saline magically returns to the reservoir. 2. Also, some of the literature mentions that with the MS pump, you feel a vibration when deflation is activated.
I have experienced neither of these things. I still have the partial inflation that I did yesterday at the 6 week point. I didn't sleep well last night because of the discomfort. This afternoon I will try your suggestions and keep holding down the button while squeezing the shaft.
Thanks for your encouragement.
Yes Hillywilly, the pump before the new Tennacio is the AMS MS pump. I guess some docs are still using it, because of its durability.
The deflate vibration is more of a sound, but you can feel it a little bit.
I had a Boston Scientefic Patient Champion that I talked to over the phone and he gave me pointers on how do work the pump.
He told me to hold the deflate button down more than 4 seconds because when it’s new the valves sticks.
Yes, it’s supposed to keep deflating after 4 seconds, but it can be slow, so I keep pressing it down and squeeze my dick to get the fluid out faster.
It’s important to squeeze all the saline liquid back into the reservoir to prevent the surgical capsule from forming too small and then preventing you from totally emptying your dick to make it completely flaccid.
Same thing goes for inflating your dick, you need to follow the docs protocol for cycling to expand your dick tissue before the surgical capsule forms.
My docs protocol was twice a day for 20 minutes in the shower. I would shave too with it fully inflated as long as I could stand the pain the last few minutes.
I still inflate my implant when I’m in the shower most of the time, just to keep things stretched.
