Question about pump in scrotum
Im scheduled mid June with Dr Eid. I have a question about the pump in the scrotum. My scrotum changes “lengths” throughout the day. How does that effect the tubing in the scrotum or how it feels as your scrotum contracts & expands

Re: Question about pump in scrotum
Well, we all shrink and expand due to temp but I can tell you that you will not notice any odd feeling. The tubing and pump just "go with the flow". You won't notice them unless you reach down and feel for the pump. The only thing I experience when the scrotum is tight is the pump is a bit harder to hold with one hand and pump with the other. That said, if I'm tight like that, I grab the pump bulb and gently pull down stretching the scrotum for easier pumping. I have the AMS 700 MS pump and those with different pumps might have a different experence.

Re: Question about pump in scrotum
I have the exact scrotum condition you're talking about and something I wished I thought of to bring up to tue Doc, prior to surgery. I have a coloplast titan and am going on month three post op. There are times when I dont even feel the pump at all....but then there are days where i can feel the top of the pump pressing up against (what feels like) one of the cylinders. If I pump to the max and stand too long or walk back/forth (cycling session) it absolutely is a dull annoying pain. I actually intend to bring this up to my Doc for a remedy technique. Pulling down on it does nothing for me. But then again when my scortum is relaxded (showering, laying down, sitting) zero issue. If you get a remedy, please feel free to share. Ill do the same.
