Titan's pump failed after 3 years. Recommandations?

Postby TheyCallMeDave » Mon Jun 08, 2026 2:52 pm

Hi everyone.

It's been a while since I frequented Franktalk and I must say I enjoyed a lot my implant so far. I just experienced my first mechanical failure. Basically, I pump until a mid erection and I end up with the pump squeezed in "pressed position" and the reservoir looks / feels empty (I'm quite skinny: I can tell there is no more liquid left). Basically, I can't get hard anymore. My main hypothesis is that I lost this liquid recently but would not know when. I basically have two questions.

1) For those who experienced a similar issue, where was the leak? Was it around the pump or right bellow the reservoir? For a while, I had some trouble to empty the left tube and had to wait and press to empty it (so it could be a lead on what append).

2) Delays to meet a doc in my country (France) are pretty long. It is my understanding that, since I have PD, I should not wait for to long before I have a fix and could stretch my d*** properly again. However, I have no intuition as to what is an acceptable before things might become more complicated. For those who had to wait for their repair, how long did you wait and did you experience some downside because of this time?

Cheers

So when you pump does the pump bulb remain flat after you have put some fluid in?

Welcome back to the Bionic Brotherhood.

It’s great to see you here again man. I read your journal. Thank you for sharing your story.

Out of curiosity, how much use were you able to get out of your implant? You’re very young, so I’m wondering if you managed a good amount of milage with it in three years. What was your mileage per week?

I’m sure those three years with the implant must have felt like the best thing since sliced bread. Hope you get this fixed with Hakky or Clavell sooner and get back on the saddle.

I’m sorry to hear about your device failure. It’s more likely a tubing leak than the pump, but the results are the same so it doesn’t really matter where the failure is. You should see if you can get the new Titan Prime implant, which has enhancements to the tubing, pump, and cylinders.
