Hi everyone,
I thought I would just share my personal experience.
PDE5 (tadalafil and sildenafil) started being very unreliable even at max dosages for me over the last couple of years, and I was very close to giving up (injections are not an option for me) and getting an implant.
Before booking the appointment, I thought I would start experimenting every possible PDE5 on the market and found that for me, Avanafil (Spedra) is extremely effective and reliable.
Much faster onset (15/30 minutes) and zero side effects (no congestion, no blushing, no blue vision).
It is however much more expensive, and I have no clue for how long it will remain effective for me. What I know is that for now I have delayed getting an implant by almost a year.
I still expect it won’t be effective anymore at some point, and that I will still need to get the implant in the end, but I thought I would share this in case anyone else want to give it a try.
Ciao

Avanafil changed my life (for now)
37yo with venous leak and arterial insufficiency since I was 18yo due to a motorcycle accident. Pills started to be unreliable even at max dosage. Tried PRP and Shockwaves with no luck. Considering getting an inflatable with Dr. Antonini soon.

Snake, I hope that it continues to work for you for a while to come.
That’s great that it doesn’t have any side affects that you’ve noticed.
When I was taking PDE5, what I hated was I couldn’t eat certain things or it would cancel it out.
Hang in there as long as you can, there is nothing better than a pulsing engorged hard on, but I do love my Bionic Dick! lol

Thank you brother. Fingers crossed it keeps working a bit longer, but I suspect I will join the brotherhood eventually!

I don’t think it should be moved - the reason why I thought I would post here was to interject any user considering an implant in the short term.

I agree with you completely.
47; Considering an implant. ED for over a decade. Tested a decade ago for VL, negative. Not hormonal; may be dopamine reward dysfunction.

I also agree completely.
The advise consistently given here is; exhaust all other options before getting the implant. OP is simply sharing his personal experience in buying more time.

Re: Avanafil changed my life (for now)
It's definitely way more expensive than sildenafil or tadalafil. Avanafil is a lot more affordable at the big Indian online pharmacies but of course the dosage and chemical composition is always a little questionable there
Early 30s with ED from jelqing. Implant by Dr Eid on 24 June 2021 with a Titan 24cm with +1cm RTE on one side and -1cm cut off on the other side
