Implant Day

Postby bcant43 » Tue Jun 16, 2026 4:35 am

Today is the day! First in line with Dr Taj this morning.
Just got up after a sleepless night going thru all the emotions. But I know this is the right move for my physical and mental well being, as well as for my marriage of 32 years!
Thanks for all the posts on here--all the experiences, advice, and hope have been extremely helpful.
I will try to give back and share my experiences as well.
Looking forward to joining the Bionic Brotherhood by mid morning!

All went well! No real issues with surgery! some pain and swelling in the stomach. iced all day while napping on and off.
Dr Taj said he scrapped all the plague out and that I should end up 6+ inches externally--hopefully more with cycling/pumping.
Only issue has been peeing. First couple of times I had some urine run down the bottom of my penis and on the floor. I even tied peeing in the shower and holding the bandage more open. the wrap is wet also. going to call nurse tomorrow,

Excellent! That is all great news.

Yeah, peeing can be a bit awkward for a bit. I kept having a split stream at time with half going in the bowl and half hitting the floor.

But it all sorted itself out.

Hang in there. Ice and rest for now. Easy does it.

Welcome to the brotherhood bcant43. You can look forward to some fun times once recovered :D.
Yes, pee'ing post op can be a challenge. My doc's protocol is to leave patients 30-40% erect for the first 6 weeks before cycling starts.
It doesn't sound like that much pressure but in reality it's a full on boner 24/7, which is difficult for both urination and concealment.
Apart from being almost impossible to aim correctly I was also spraying to the sides and making a mess in the bathroom .
You can buy hand held urinals from Amazon and the like. But I found a cheap 1 litre wide mouthed water bottle at my local supermarket.
That worked perfectly but it needs to have a very wide mouth. You won't get your dick inside a standard bottle.
