This is the first time I see data that shows that Coloplast had more malfunctions than AMS but high-volume doctors (I think all but Kramer) generally encourage patients to go with Coloplast over Boston Scientific implants primarily due to Coloplast being much easier to revise, so I suspect there are more Titans being implanted than the rest of them altogether, including Rigicon. Other than that there are significant pros and cons in all of them.
I wonder what percentage of AMS pump malfunctions attributed to the new Tenacio pump vs. old MSP pump? I know couple of implanters who, after 2025 recall stopped implanting Tenacio altogether. Boston Scientific claims that they fixed the defect and it's all set but... I more or less decided on AMS implant and I intend to insist on MSP pump over Tenacio despite of it purportedly being less user friendly than Tenacio.
