I got implanted about 3yrs ago and while everything has been fantastic with my implant, PIV orgasm has been very difficult to come by. I've often had to finish with my hand after my partner gets her orgasm. I finally was able to cum buckets while doing a cutie doggy style a few hrs ago and it was glorious. It helped that she wanted me to cum inside of her and also maybe that i wasn't using a condom.
Anyway i thought i'd just bring this up as something to be aware of if you're planning on going down this road!

Thanks for sharing this news, dentestes. That’s great news. Last week I spoke to another brother who also had his 1st PIV orgasm after 3 years. Body’s ability to heal is amazing.

Great news! I am just past the 2-year mark and unable to finish other than by Willie and the Hand Jive, and standing up. I hope for better days, but the years are piling up, so who knows? Your post is encouraging.
Had ED for about 25 years, and used pills, then injections, until implant in 2024, following bout with cancer. Implant is AMS 700CX, 21 cm, no RTE, on 6/3/24 at age 65. Thank you, Medicare!

I am a newbie just beginning this journey. Seeing the doc next month. Is the inability to orgasm PIV common?

My surgeon performs 200+ surgeries every year. I asked him about it, and he said it's rare.
When I asked what % of cases it occurs in, he replied, "I don't know."

I am about 4 months into the brotherhood.
I started PIV about 6 weeks in. Was glorious. By second time even achieved Climax. Was quite consistent whole way since on a weekly basis. Didnt have issue until about 2-3 weeks ago. I dont get there at all or have harder time to achieve. Hoping it's just a phase and not regression. Not a large sample size yet to draw any conclusions but thought id chime in on this thread because it's on my mind currently.

In my experience it is fairly common initially post implant but usually resolves as everything heals. The timeframe can vary a lot and rare exceptions can have ongoing problems. I started having sex at 8 weeks and there was no way I could orgasm the first 3 or 4 attempts, still too painful from the surgical trauma etc. Then I started to climax intermittently, even though there was still significant discomfort present, there was enough psychological arousal to push through it. Over the following weeks and months I eventually got to a point of achieving orgasm 100% of the time from PIV sex pain free.

Might be similar to my experience above, progress is not always linear. Do you still have any discomfort on and off? Or is there any residual numbness? I usually have sex three times a week and that might have helped settle things down more quickly. It's only anecdotal but I've noticed that guys lucky enough to have a daily or even more frequent routine seem to get back in the saddle faster. Also what about masturbation? If you can climax from that there is probably nothing wrong.

I had my first sex at 10 weeks, and didn't have an orgasm from intercourse until 4 months plus. It's still difficult and spotty, but I'm having them often enough that I'm pretty satisfied. I can orgasm reliably from masturbation.

Re: PIV orgasm!
I was having a LOT of issues prior to implant while on injections. Always attributed it to being TOO hard to the point of aching and loss of sensation. Trimix did that to me. Either way too hard or wasn’t hard enough. Struggled for 16 months with ever increasing amount of mix. After implant it has been a rollercoaster of can and can’t. Did seem to go one way or the other for a month or two at time but much more frustrating to her than me. She was always able to finish me with a good hand/oral with a lot of prostate stimulation.
60yo.ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works w diminishing results.
