Smoke and implant after 3 year
It’s been three years since the surgery and I want to start smoking; would it be dangerous? Is smoking tobacco risky?

Smoking probably won’t have much, if any, impact on a plastic prosthetic.
But yes, smoking tobacco is risky.

Why would you intentionally take up smoking? As a former smoker (WAY back) trust me when I say smoking is terrible for your health and very hard to stop once started.
Just don't.

The great thing about smoking is that you will likely have fewer implant revisions during your lifetime.
Simple math. You’ll die sooner, so shorter lifespan means fewer revisions.
Enjoy!

This x 1,000. I'm the same. Smoked fairly heavily from about age 16 to 22, then quit stone cold when I saw how it was destroying my health. Haven't touched them for over 50 years. I'm now probably the most intolerant ex smoker on the planet and make no apologies for it.
72, married, Sydney Oz. PC/nerve sparing RRP Mar 2022 caused 100% total ED. Tried pills, Trimix inj, focal shockwave, VED. All failed. Implanted Mar 6 2025 AMS 700 LGX 21cm x 12mm, no RTEs, MS pump, Penoscrotal. Got back to 6.5" BPEL @ 9m. Loving it.

I'm so confused by this. Why *start* smoking?
