A little setback last week. When the dermabond came off and I had some really dark blood draining from two sites. Not large enough to warrant stitches. A little disappointed but it really made my balls feel better as it drained. That was a week ago and I can now really make out the parts of the pump and release with just minimal swelling left! I will four weeks post of this Thursday and have another appt with the Dr. Will update progress weekly for those that are interested.

Hi .. I am interested in your progress. I am still struggling with pain in the "tip" and the perineum after 10 weeks with this damn semi-rigid implant which was put in after infection with the inflatable.

What type implant did you get? At some point I am going to try an inflatable again if I can get up the nerve to subject myself to this again.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. On 09/11/2014 I had a coloplast titan otr 3cm extension with 17cm. I also have had some pain in the tip of my right cylinder but last night I actually just lightly did some massage on it and low and behold it reduced in pain and frequency a lot! I have been told not to take baths until the drainage stops which sucks because that was what felt best in getting the boys to relax a bit.

Swelling depends on the amount of cutting into the septum.

Olivero66,

That doesn't really help me now does it? Im trying to keep a positive outlook, not regress and think about the past.

Ok, for those that are interested in my RECOVERY had a follow up today at my 4 week post op. Dr. said he wanted again to cycle it again today but couldn't because of some residual swelling around the release valve. He didn't want to cycle me and not be able to deflate so now I have to wait another week. Spotting is down to minimal now. No pain except for occasional sharp twitches here and there. Back to the waiting game.....I know everything will be ok, but this is getting exhausting.

Tell me about it. I am 10 weeks out with my semi-rigid implant which was put in after infection with the inflatable and I am totally exhausted. Although getting better very, very slowly, I still have discomfort in the perineum and some in the shaft.

The only thing that has helped me keep my sanity is this website and the people who responded to me and had the same issues, ahead of me, and their assurances things will get better.

Your situation sounds like you are well on the way to success and I wish you the best. Hang in there and there will be better days ahead. Please do continue to post your progress. I, for one, am very interested to know how you are doing.
