Floppy glans syndrome

Postby capetownlove » Sun Jul 26, 2026 9:51 am

Hi everyone,

I had a Coloplast TITAN Touch Zero Degree inflatable penile implant (20 cm + 1 cm RTE) implanted on April 10, 2026.

Unfortunately, more than three months later, I'm still experiencing what appears to be Floppy Glans Syndrome. The shaft becomes very rigid, but my glans still bends downward and isn't properly supported. It hasn't improved at all since the surgery.
According to my operative report, my surgeon even noted during the operation that the glans appeared slightly hypermobile because the cylinders do not extend to the middle of the glans.

Has anyone here experienced the same problem?

- Did it improve over time with regular cycling?
- Did you need a revision or another procedure?
- If so, what was done and did it solve the problem?

I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone through something similar.

Thanks in advance.

I had the surgery in Germany, and I'll be seeing my surgeon again in October. I'm really hoping he'll be able to come up with a solution. He's a highly experienced surgeon who has been implanting penile prostheses for over 25 years and has performed countless procedures. I just hope he'll have a suitable solution for me.

Are you using a VED?

Looks severely undersized.

No, I'm not using a vacuum erection device (VED). I don't think it would change anything about my implant anyway. The only problem I have is that my glans folds forward.

Have you ever considered surgery for it?
There are surgical options specifically for floppy glans syndrome, such as glanulopexy (glans fixation), where the glans is attached to the tips of the corpora cavernosa to prevent it from folding forward. In some cases, surgeons also perform distal penile reconstruction if additional support is needed.
Have you discussed either of these procedures with your surgeon? And does it cause you any problems during sexual intercourse?

It is clearly undersized. You need a surgeon that put the cylinders inside the glans.

Looks undersized. Ipp tips should terminate mid glans. You may have had fibrosis of the glans, but a skilled surgeon could take care of that. If you come to the us, find dr hakky in atlanta
Became bionic 3/2026. Hakky - rigicon infla10ax 23 cm (22+1 rte). Chronic ed - tried pills, ved, bimix/trimix. Had mild venous leak on doppler. Took the plunge when ultrasound showed fibrosis and i knew it was only a matter of time before i needed one

sue your doctor

and don't get re-operated by the same doctor: that's some rookie level error there. we are talking at least 3cm less of implant
LGX 18 + 1. 2023/12
Pre-OP VED length: 5.5". Post-OP: 4". At 3 months post-op: 5". At 1 yr: 5,3"
Cycling with a lot of pain for the first 5 months, now improving
If you have a motorcycle stop using it (ED with motorcycle accident).
