Implant and UTI

Hi all,

Has anyone experienced a UTI with an implant? I've had two in the last two weeks. (I think maybe the second one is a recurrence due to ineffective antibiotics for the first one.)

A few months ago, I also experienced blood in my urethra. It was blood, then pee, so it wasn't coming from the bladder upstream. It went away on its own, so I didn't think too much about it.

Now I wonder whether a dogear might be irritating my urethra, and that's what caused the bleeding and UTI. I've had my CX for two years now, and this is the first time I've ever had to deal with something like this.

I have a referral to urology to check things out. Just wondering if anyone else has dealt with similar issues.

No UTI's but blood in my urine turned out to be bladder cancer. Definitely see the urologist.
Wish the best for you. Dealing with the bladder cancer was no picnic.
