Hi Everyone!
I'm 28 years old and have cavernous fibrosis caused by incorrect injections. I did this for work, filming videos and private meetings.
The surgeon advised me to get the Coloplast Titan Touch implant.
But I have many questions about how my life will change afterward. The most frightening thing I worry about is the possibility of getting a prosthetic infection. My work is in the sex industry, where prohibited substances(drugs) (cocaine, mephedrone, etc.) are often involved.
So my question is: after I get the implant and once the capsule has formed (3 months post-implantation), will it be safe to occasionally use light synthetic drugs (cocaine, mephedrone)? Will this cause a prosthetic infection or tissue erosion due to vascular spasms, etc.?
If anyone has had a similar experience or has heard of similar questions, I would appreciate any information. Thank you in advance.

Infections of a penile prosthesis after surgical healing would be unusual, but in general, a prosthetic device is only infected if bacteria are introduced into the bloodstream. In the case of a prosthetic heart valve, for example, this could occur due to intervenous drug use, or even a dental procedure. The latter would not be the case with a penile prosthesis. Just giving an example. Infections of artificial joints also would only occur with bacteria in the bloodstream. I assume you’re not talking about injecting drugs, in which case you have bigger potential problems than a prosthetic infection.

Ive seen people in their 30s and 40s land in the er and the icu from cocaine use. Never a good idea. If youre surgeon found out, he would not be happy. Healing can be an issue as cocaine can cause vasculitis. You can have a long and happy career with an ipp for sure drug free. Dont cut it short by doing cocaine. My 2 cents.
Became bionic 3/2026. Hakky - rigicon infla10ax 23 cm (22+1 rte). Chronic ed - tried pills, ved, bimix/trimix. Had mild venous leak on doppler. Took the plunge when ultrasound showed fibrosis and i knew it was only a matter of time before i needed one

Plenty of subjects are just fine for shooting the breeze and swapping opinions in a group chat. Figuring out how to handle infection risks after surgery sure as heck isn’t one of them. Do not take any post-surgery medical advice from strangers on the internet, especially when it comes to keeping infection away. Even if somebody means well, their tip could be dead wrong for your situation and land you in a whole mess of trouble. Surgeons do things their own way for good reasons, and what worked fine for one fellow can be the worst possible move for the next guy. From everything my amazing bionic brothers have shared, the right way to handle things after surgery is different for every single person. It all comes down to your own surgeon, the exact operation you had, and whatever health risks you’re carrying. People can swap stories all day long, but only your surgeon knows the particulars of your case and can tell you what’s actually safe for you. This is a simple question your surgeon or their office staff can answer in two minutes flat. Pick up the phone, give them a call, and do exactly what they tell you. Don’t go following random advice from people you’ve never even met.

All I'm interested in is if I use cocaine/meph during the night, will I end up having an emergency prosthetic replacement?
Cocaine, amphetamines, mephedrone, and other stimulants cause a powerful, prolonged vasospasm and fluctuations in blood pressure. The tissues of the penis, which are already altered after surgery, stop receiving oxygen. This can lead to bedsores (erosion) of the tissues around the prosthesis, where the implant components literally break through the skin or urethra. (FROM CHAT GPT INFO)
Sorry for my english

Unfortunatelly , No surgeon can tell you what will happen if you use/take cocain/meph with a prosthetic(3 piece). I understand that any substance is evil/
Thats why i need to know , maybe someone on this forum have experence

You're absolutely right. But I work in a field where I sometimes have to keep the company going. And I use drugs(substances). I work in the sex industry, and I get paid for it.

I would steer clear of any drugs for the first few months then. First 3 months are your highest risk.
Maybe youll get implanted with the new titan and you can review about it.
Like any mechanical device, it will wear out eventually and need replacement. Expect one every decade. You may need 5 devices in your lifetime. Im expecting 4 (im on my first.
At least in your line of work, no more pressure to stay erect once implant is in. Is it common for men in your industry to need injections and eventually implants?

Re: Need to know inormation about Implant and "club life"
I saw an interview with a female porn actress. She said that male porn actors are under much greater pressure than the female ones because they're expected to be always on ready, period. There is a line of candidates waiting right outside the door to take their place.
That's why she said, many of them would isolate themselves in the bathrooms before doing the scene and do whatever they do there to get themselves ready. She said many "even" get implanted to prolong their careers.
I suspect this guy is in this type of situation.
In my really really unprofessional opinion it probably wouldn't matter much in terms of penile implant infection. I think it would probably have the same affect as if you were getting drunk. If you know that you have a tendency to go a bit crazy when you're either drugged up or drunk than you'd be more likely to break/tear your implant than for it to get infected. Just thinking aloud though because my opinion about this is truly truly unprofessional.
