Any expriences with Dr Ralph- London ?

Well, I was originally dissatisfied with the asymmetry of the tips, but these resolved with cycling. However, my glans is angled downwards, Ralph seemed to suggest that it was congenital and may improve with time but that is yet to be seen.

Things I'm less satisfied with were an accidental 1.5 inch lateral lasceration across the top of my penis. Ralph didn't seem overly concerned about that but I am. What's the point in making a discreet incision if I'm going to have an obvious scar right across my dick?

This was less Ralph's fault but more the nursing team but they appear to have ripped out the drain without disabling the suction effect which caused me excruciating pain in my scrotum for months (still present today).

And lastly, the tubing has apparently become displaced as confirmed by Ralph himself. The tubing is very prominent, uncomfortable and is in places even visible. This, along with the angle of the glans is why I need a revision.

This is a fair assessment of my case. I think many, perhaps if not all of these issues could have been avoided and so I am disappointed.

That said, no infection from what I can see, I think the tips appear to be in a fine position from what I understand, the pump seems in an ok position, I don't think there's any extrusion. So in the grand scheme of things it's not a total disaster, but this accidental injury is bad in my view.

Hey mate...you say the tubing has become displaced. How did this happen...how can it happen? And what happens it tubing becomes displaced?

I had an implant with Dr Rees and I'm happy with the result but I can definitely feel some tubing beneath the base of the penis, more so on the left side. If the balls go loose and hang low I can see the tubing on the left side. It doesn't really bother me much and I've accepted it as par for the course with an implant...but if it can become displaced then that might worry me.

From what I understand mine became displaced as part of the procedure. The people I've seen have all confirmed that the tubing needs revision, so yours might not be as bad as yours.

I see. I'm otherwise quite happy with my result.

1 reason I went with Rees was he was a bit more cost effective than Ralph, came in about £2,500 less than Ralph and I had to pay thousands out of pocket for mine.

Also I found a few of Rees patients online, on Facebook, and they were very happy with the results.

His secretary also gave me contact details for 2 patients and I spoke to them too, they were also happy. None of them reported size loss or anything like that. Rees seemed quite confident in his implanting abilities when I consulted with him.

He initially suggested I do infrapubic, but loads of people on Franktalk told me to go penoscrotal because it's better, not sure why I listened to them so much but anyway I asked Rees what's better and he said there's pros and cons to both, and he can do both himself, so if I'm really fussy I can go penoscrotal if I want. He advised infrapubic mostly for a smoother recovery and quicker cycling but when he saw I was paranoid because I'd been talking to Franktalkers he said I can go penoscrotal if I want, but advised not to be going too deep listening to people on these forums. So I switched to penoscrotal and he was happy to accomodate.

The fact he can do both methods, the price and the good results his other patients received all seemed good so I decided I'd go with him.

Im starting to wonder if Rees might now be the best implanter in the UK. I've heard very good things about him. No experience myself with him though.

He also does UroFill and is perhaps the only one in the UK that does I think
