The reservoir stayed in place. The tubing from the reservoir to the cylinders maneuvered through some fascia as it settled in. From what I understand, it’s difficult for the reservoir to exit the SOR. Those implanted sub muscular would have more visible and noticeable.

When Dr. Hakky placed the reservoir he had trouble with it wanting to pop out of the space, so he added some sutures to hold it in place. It’s not palpable in any way, but is sometimes a little sore. Hakky warned me it would be sore for a number of months due to the sutures, so I’m not concerned and it is improving.

I did have a lot of initial issues with urinary frequency, but that has improved as well.

Ok that's encouraging. Tell me about the tubing. My tubing runs from the reservoir down the left side of my penis and at the base its very prominent. Its awkward and gets sore. It makes sense painful when I bash against it

I have a tube that runs from my right lower abdomen (from the reservoir), that runs along the V of the muscles above the pubic area, and goes under the right cylinder behind the upper part of the scrotum (goes to the pump). It’s not visible but can be felt if you press the area. This one occasionally gets sore if there’s a lot of rubbing or friction in that area.

I also have what seems like a small amount of tubing at the base of the left of my shaft, I think it’s the tube from the pump to the left cylinder. You can see a lump at the base of my shaft where it is, but it’s never bothered me or my partners or caused any pain.

Overall I would say I am happy with everything, I wish the right side tubing didn’t get sore but the doc warned me it would for a while so it is what it is.

As I get older and thinner, I noticed a tube going up the right side of my stomach. I asked my surgeon at a check up and confirmed my reservoir is just below my rib cage.

I did some exercise today (legs) and the resevoir feels a little uncomfortable. Actually, when I inflate and the resevoir empties it can sometimes trigger bowel movements I feel.

Does it ever get to a place where it's totally undetectable?

Did your reservoir feeling get better? i also feel mine and its been over a year

My situation is similar, my tube runs down my right groin from the reservoir in the space of Retzius, to the base of my penis and then down to the pump. I can feel it where it is at the base of the penis and along the groin. Usually no biggie, occasionally a little sore if I’ve been very active sexually. It doesn’t interfere with anything, and I feel it’s acceptable and not generally bothersome.

Hakky did say I shouldn’t use rings or a VED because they could pinch/kink the tube which over time could weaken it.
