AMS 700 CX Question

I had a much better consultation with a different urologist this week, I have a level of confidence with him that up to this point I haven't felt. Mentioned he only works with AMS and recommend the CX for me. I have no Peyronie's disease or any visible fibrosis based on a physical exam. Of course that can change once he's inside the penis.

Looking for feedback from men who were naturally around a 6-inch erect mid shaft girth before surgery and received an AMS 700 CX. How close did you feel your postoperative girth was once fully healed and cycling? Were you and your partner satisfied?

I was implanted in January (see details below in signature line) with AMS 700 CX ( was supposed to receive the LGX, but there was something he observed during the procedure that made him change to the CX).

I was 6 1/4 inches fully stretched prior to implant (using a VED) and I'm 5 7/8 inches now (without using a VED). I think that's a good result (3/8 inch). My urologist told me beforehand that I would lose some length and early on, there was a bit more than 3/8 of an inch loss, so improvement over the last 6 months. Girth is about the same, although I failed to measure pre-op, so that's my guesstimate. There's a lot of talk/bragging on FT about length after implant, and quite honestly, I think there's a bit of exaggeration in some cases. I know most major medical sites that specialize in IPP surgery state that there will be some loss.

Are we pleased? Resoundingly YES! The ability to have an erection for as long as I want is simply amazing. Last night was our 54th anniversary and I did some serious pounding! We are really pleased. Now enjoying the best sex we've had in years.

I was 5-1/2” preop and same exact postop. I got a cx from a dr that heavily pushes for a titan. Im almost 7 weeks postop and wife & love it. My dr refused to work with lgx or the tenacio pump.

Ok, I gained in both length and girth. About 3/4 or so both ways. And as far as dreaming it..mrs says otherwise. Went from roughly 6.5 length to 7.25 and girth from a little under 5.5 to about 6..honestly some times over 6 a bit. And yes I have the cx ..24 cm with 2 2 cm rt extenders.

Hey, excellent results! In my earlier post I wasn't saying that no one got length/girth improvement, but some of the claims I've seen on FT appear to me to be way beyond the pale. But, each of us are different, and how our member responds to an implant is going to be different.

Oh it's all good...had mine now for 6 yrs. I'll probably go titan next time if needed. I think the surgeon was pushing the limit on the cx from what I've read. I got some nerve damage so it's effected some sensation, but the os are mind blowing now more so than before. Take care!

I think people worry too much about size after the implant. I did not do any measurement before surgery. I just followed the advice about cycling after surgery.
My estimate is that I am around the same size after surgery. It took about 3 months of cycling. Regaining size should not be a concern.
