Hi guys, anybody on here been implanted with the above please?
I would like to know the pros and cons of the device.
I am currently having pain in the reservoir area of my existing 8 year old LGX.
Any information would be very much appreciated.

As far as I know; Boston no longer makes the Ambicor. I have been given to understand that certain surgens
have access to a limited supply. However; Coloplast has the relatiely new 2P which appears to similar.
I am courious myself about a 2 piece option. My concern would the rigiity and ability to cycle for best lenght
recovery
Good luck.

Coloplast does not make a two-piece inflatable penile implant.

That's what I thought. I just googled it and it seems that the only company that still makes 2-piece implant is Rigicon, Infla2P. AI says it's unavailable in the US and Canada but is available everywhere else.
I wonder though. I don't think I ever heard of anyone having it implanted. It's always either 3-piece or malleable. Anybody?

not a lot of saline to pump up the cylinders is the draw back with them , which is why they went to the 3 piece with a large reservoir.
my dream implant would be a well fit malleable that could also have some pumps added to to it to maximize size . a 2 peace malleable

1955. I have had ED for years. We were planning to go for a Rigi10 in October 2024. Life got in the way (heart attack & stent), so we are now going for injections as a fill-in. 9/2025 More life roadblocks with prostate Cancer:((

I still likely have 6 more months before being implanted (BPH first) and lately I've been leaning towards Genesis (over IPPs, Rigi10 and Tactra). Long-term plan is to have the least invasive, least susceptible to malfunctions, device in until Boston Scientific's digital pump enters the US market and then see. That should turn AMS implants back into 2 piece devices. I presume the other two companies are also rushing to develop digital pumps of their own.
