Continued Improvement - Month 8

Hey all…

I just wanted to post and say that at 8 months following my surgery, things continue to improve.

Initially I was unable to orgasm from intercourse and could only orgasm from masturbation. That lasted 4 months or so. It was of course slightly frustrating, but since I could make myself orgasm and the sex was so phenomenal, I didn’t mind too much and just gave myself time.

As I posted previously I was able to start having orgasms from intercourse, but it was a bit spotty and only happened about 25% of the time. I’m happy to report that continues to improve! I’m now able to orgasm 50% or more of the time, and if I can get to 75% I’ll be very satisfied with that. The numbness on the underside of my shaft is still there, but I think is finally starting to improve.

I also had two recent milestones: I was able to orgasm from a position other than missionary (prone from behind), and on a separate occasion I was able to orgasm from intercourse twice in one day, only about 6 hours apart. Both of these were surprising and exciting.

I want to document these improvements for other implant patients, to underscore that recovery from implant surgery definitely takes time, and while our performance quickly becomes spectacular, some aspects take longer to get back to what we consider “normal”. It’s important that we give ourselves time to adjust and improve, and that we don’t put undue pressure on ourselves and let frustration take over.

Recovery with an implant is a marathon and not a sprint, let’s all keep at it and enjoy the journey!

Congrats Elbow for your improvements. It takes time and everything is coming to normal day by day. It's not only the healing of nerves but also our brain that is sometimes still "busy" with our ED, that made us to mental wrecks, now is adjusting to the new situation, so we are getting more and more relaxed. Orgasms / Ejaculations are als very depended by the sexual excitation, which also in your case seems to play a role, cause you were able to orgasm by masturbation. I also remember in my case, that new chicks and good oral sex, made me always more horny, resulting in much faster orgasms.
It will all get better, so give it time.

Congrats man. Thats great news. We have the same surgeon. I recovered fairly quickly with orgasm and all almost as soon as i was cleared for sex. There was discomfort initially but now its all good. Im 3-4 months out now.

I think youll get back to full recovery with time.

It’s been a while, so I thought I’d update.

It’s been 10 months since surgery with Dr. Hakky. Once my initial complications (hematoma, seroma requiring draining twice), it has really been smooth sailing. My penoscrotal incision scar is practically invisible, nobody looking would notice it unless I point it out. I still have some reduced sensation in the proximal half of the shaft on the underside, but not bd and hopefully it will continue to improve. I get some soreness from the tube going from the reservoir to the base of my shaft going to the pump. Hakky warned my that could last a while, so I’m not worried and it’s not bad enough to be bothersome.

I initially could not orgasm from intercourse (masturbation worked fine) for the first six months or so. That has gradually improved, I can now orgasm from PIV a little less than half the time. My girlfriend is patient and we have found things that help me have more success.

My girlfriend is younger than me (I’ll be 60 in December, she’s 45), and we have been wearing this thing out. We have sex on average twice a day, rarely once and often three times or more. Sometime slow and gentle, other times very “spirited”. She loves the Titan and keeps saying she needs to send a fruit basket to Dr. Hakky. She also likes watching me walk around naked with the big flaccid the implant provides, calling it “the cannon”.

I’m very thankful to have found a sweet, wonderful woman with a libido to match the capabilities that the Titan provides! If you are in an unhappy relationship sexually, trust me and get out of it and find a great, sexy woman. They are out there. I ended a 20 year dead bedroom marriage last year and couldn’t be happier.

Also, the GF mentioned that I seemed bigger lately. So I re-measured and realized my dick has gone from the 8.5” x 6.5” it was in the last several months to 8.75” x 6.7”. So I am stretching out from the Titan over time. I was a hair over 9” in my 20s. Honestly I hope I hold here, it’s plenty big and I have a feeling any bigger would become uncomfortable for my GF.

So everything is going pretty great with me, in large measure due to having this implant. I can’t imagine how awkward it would be to maintain a new sexual relationship while dealing with trimix injections I used to rely on. Now it’s just pump and be ready in 30 seconds, any time, any place.

It is also good to hear any supporting evidence for the Titan's capabilities, even if it's anecdotal. I have to say though, as someone who has changed over an inch in girth and even a little in length over time, either a girl is too small for you, or she will handle you. No woman's body has a hard limit of such-and-such girth and once cm more "doesn't fit." Especially since our lovers have plenty of time to warm up and relax while we give it the old quack quack, there is no reason to fear the limited gains an implant can achieve. Enjoy it!
