Suprapubic tenting

Implantation of AMS 700 CX four months ago. The device is working well. I am a non-obese person and the suprapubic area appears flat when I’m flaccid with the full length of the penis visible.There is not substantial fat there.With inflation, the suprapubic area tents forward which shortens the visible length. The area can easily be pushed down to expose the entire penis. Based on my trip down the Internet rabbit hole, it appears that this generally retracts with internal scarring in the 6 to 12 month window. What is the experience of others on this issue ? I realize that there are some who will not have experienced this, so I hope the answers will be confined to those who have had this phenomenon and can comment on the timeline to resolution.

Much the same here. I haven't experienced any retraction/reduction so far and still get some "tenting" when erect at nearly 18 months post op. I'm not obese but have gained some weight since retiring from endurance athletic activities after chronic knee issues, and ultimately a TKR in 2023. Before that I was extremely fit and quite lean. I doubt anything will change unless I go on a strict diet and get back to a very solid fitness regime. I'm still very active but it's not enough to reduce my pubic fat pad, which is only mildly thick anyway and is fairly flat when I'm flaccid. I also think an implant can somehow change the physiology in some of us, compared with a natural erection, and seems to influence the "tenting" phenomenon. I have no scientific evidence, just my own observation.
