Psycological ED and implants

Postby M123987 » Thu Aug 27, 2026 12:26 pm

Is there anyone who has had a penile implant due to erectile dysfunction caused by psychological factors and not physical or venous leak?

ED is ED, brother, psychological or not. An implant is our best solution, with a small percentage of risk involved (infections that can happen with current or future surgeries).

Don’t take my word for it, please check with a high-volume dedicated penile implant specialist. If you are young, a respectable specialist worth his salt will first expect you to undergo some psychiatric/psychological workup before proceeding. Listen to your doctor, but make sure you see a good one.

I disagree with above poster.

Definetly do not get an implant immediately for psychological ED unless you're like 60

Go with pills and even injections if you need to

Try everything else under the sun first
