The "breaking in' thing was what I was told immediately post op, two years ago.
I have not delayed seeing a doctor about this, it was because I had another, much more serious condition in the mean time which was requiring immediate, major surgery. I have stated all this several times.
Anyway they have called me in for a consulation in 6 weeks, so I will see what happens then .
I think Americans have difficulty understanding the different Doctor/patient relationship here in the UK.
Onset of ED at age 46, no erection since, pills, VED , Injections, no luck, not even once.
Implanted 19.04.2023 in UK, with Rigicon Infla 10 AX, not functioning.
Had revision 24/09/25 Rigicon removed and AMS700 implanted.

I hope the consultation goes well and they finally get it fixed!

I have no complaints about the brand, except for the noise of the pump. But karaman undersized me/underdilated me. Blamed it on "my anatomy" and gave me a super obvious floppy glans even when the evidence was there. Id say run away from karaman at all cost.

What a nuanced, labyrinthine account of experiences... lots of emotional content.

I am sorry to hear about your unsatisfying experience, especially after such thorough vetting. I truly hope the floppy glans issue ends up resolved- and I'm sure it will- the only question is how much trouble it is going to be.

FWIW, I'm exactly 1 month post-placement of a Rigicon AX, Dr Hakky. Some of your experience resonates with me, especially the hard bulb and initial cycling issues.

At this point, I have no problem at all cycling, have worked up to 2 hours twice a day, and currently am off 1/2 inch length and girth from preop. I took my stitches out yesterday from the infrapubic incision (Atlanta is a drive for me). I have to say, compared to many on here, after the initial adjustment, I have no reason to complain. I will again express appreciation for the advice on here from some members during that time.

I guess I'm posting to say I wouldn't conclude the device or model is faulty, but it does seem you may have been undersized. I will also say I did not get a preop ultrasound, and the catheter was removed before I woke up from conscious sedation. The placement of the tips would not need any imaging, as it would be obvious by simply feeling the position after placement, I would think... but I'm not a urologist.

There are many good, high volume surgeons in the US, and you probably know more about them than I do. I can personally recommend Dr Hakky based on my experience.

May I suggest that sometimes, the details we look for and think are important may not actually matter as much as we think.
