Rigi 10ax pump bulb question

Postby richard_goes_bionic » Sun Aug 30, 2026 6:34 pm

next week is 10 months post surgery and 8 months since cycling and sex started. I noticed that my bulb for to pump up the implant is still rock hard and has not changed at all in less firmness, so to squeeze the whole thing together its impossible.
It nearly feels the opposite now, that it's even harder and it's not possible to pump more than appr. 20 pumps. and it seems I can not get the same hard erection like before. what if there is air inside that keeps the pressure on the bulb but not enough transport of fluid. I also have not experienced either increase of size nor girth.

I can have sex and with climax but it feels not the same hardness in penis. maybe I am getting paranoid :D

(Rigi) brothers please give me some feedback about your pump situation.

I've only had mine 1 month, and it was unexpectedly (for me) hard to pump at first- but it has gotten better over 2 weeks and now I would call it firm, but not hard as it was. Pumping is no problem. Did yours get better, then become more difficult again? Or has it been this way the whole time?

It seems there is no change its the same like before if not worse, I dont feel the stretch when is fully pumped.

Bambino what you mean with relax, thats all you can contribute, I am relaxed but ask if this is the normal for brothers with Rigicon.

Rigi is supposed to give you more length/girth over time but that means it has to expand your tissue, dont feel this is happen.

Dear Richard, with my Rigicon X, I can perform 30 to 40 full pumps at the start. Then I wait a bit and can do another 40 to 60 half-pumps. Sometimes I can even manage about 20 more mini-pumps after that. Are you pressing very hard? You might want to try it in a warm bath.

Dear Richard, was your penis stretched enough after the surgery? Was it kept 60 percent inflated for six weeks? It sounds like the capsule around the implant didn't undergo enough stretching and has now healed too tightly.

Hard Penis,Aloha from Maui, six weeks ago I had Peronies Disease straightening surgery and the installation of penis pump. Since then, when ever I walk around my penis stiffens. When I sit the penis softens. Additionally, during the evening my penis stiffens and it becomes difficult to get it to soften. I was hoping by this time these issues might resolve itself. I'm wondering if anyone has experienced these issues and how you might have addressed them?

Richard,

Chris is making a good point. I have definitely noticed that max inflation occurs in stages. I can consistently get more fluid in after time elapses; sometimes, a lot more. And by elapsed time, I'm talking about 45-50 minutes. After another 30 minutes after that, I can even get more in. I had written that off to new cylinders, but your situation has me wondering.

I wonder what would happen if you pumped as much as you could, waited 30-40 minutes more, then pumped as much more in as you could? Maybe this is a characteristic of the rigicon- IDK. Those with longer experience than I have could say for sure- mine is brand new.

I will say at my early stage this thing feels natural, and is hard as a rock- but nevertheless it will continue to expand more over 1-2 hours time. If you feel fluid being transferred, try working more in later and see if you feel more fluid transfer. Or have you done this already?

I have also noticed the first pump is almost always non-effective and hard as a rock. Softens up after that first pump.

I hope this is helpful.

Do it in the shower. Its often harder at first. Then when you deflate and reinflate its softer. I always use 2 hands. And at a minimum pump to 30 which is hard enough for sex and orgasm. 50 is my max ish. It can go higher the longer your dick adapts.

Sorry, I overlooked another surmise by Chris,

His other comment about scar tissue forming around the implant (also known as the "coffin effect") would make sense if the max inflation hasn't changed at all. The only thing in my mind that would make that plausible would be a fairly long period where there was no cycling going on at all, like, for several weeks. To me that's an outcome we don't want to be the case.

In my decision making, I read hundreds of these threads- there was one where a brother on here (maybe Lost Sheep? I don't remember who) had arrested progress, and he used endless soaking in hot water and supernatural strength (hyperbole for clarity) and smashed the bulb until he felt a "pop", after which he got great progress- he surmised he broke a band of scar tissue. Who knows- maybe you can find it, but I'm not giving advice on this one. It might be time to see your urologist....
