Finally moving forward

Postby Ved_pumper » Fri Sep 04, 2026 4:38 pm

Spoke with my new urologist a second time today and I have a date (a month anyway) for my implant surgery. Plan is for January 2027, his booking persion will get back to me with a confirmed day and time. Installing a AMS 700 CX with the MS pump. He's not so impressed with the tenacio pump.

This date works perfect for my outdoor lifestyle, I really enjoy deer and grouse hunting in the fall!

Overjoyed that I found a surgon I have trust in and a confirmed date. Hopefully this will be a start to help with the ED induced anxiety and depression I've been dealing with for years. The idea of the surgery is a little unsettling but I know what I'm getting into and hopefully for successful results. Thanks to everyone on the page that provided feedback and answered my questions to this point!
Suffering ED for 8 yrs. No success with pills or trimix. VED does work but the constriction rings are painful to hold the erection. Currently speaking with urologists about a implant.

ElbowRoom, Not interested in names in a public fourm for my own purposes. Canadian surgeon, does over 30 a year which is a lot by Canadian standards. Well respected and published surgeon in Canada, 25 yrs experience doing ams implants. I feel comfortable with him with no red flags for me or my wife, I've spoken with other surgeons during this process that scared the shit out of both of us. Not my first surgery unfortunately, been my own health advocate for years. Although this will be the first surgery on my dick lol.

How old are you?
43, ED since late 20's, Pills on and off since then increasing strengths with inconsistent results. Now 5mg Cialis daily and either 20mg Cialis or 100mg Viagra
Not sure if it's Psychological or Physiological, long-term use of SSRI's probably hasn't helped
