This forum has been so helpful as I navigate the first few weeks with an implant. I made the decision to enter the final frontier 3 years after radical prostatectomy that was supposed to be nerve sparing but the ability to achieve an erection never came back. Like many others here, I’ve been through the progression of pills without success and shots worked but got concerned about long term effects.
Also probably like others, I vastly overestimated my ability to recover. After almost 3 weeks, swelling has finally receded and I have cycled for the first time but the pain persists and patience is not a virtue that comes easily.
Sorry for the intro/background - here’s my question: in the deflated/flaccid state it still feels like I’m walking around with an erection. Is this the new normal or something that eventually settles ‘down’. Thanks again to the many here that provide feedback and re-assurance to those of us just starting the journey.

Re: Newbie Question re: deflated state
I have an LGX 700. For the first 6-9 months my flaccid dick felt heavier and larger. I loved it. It felt great having it swing between my legs and having the extra weight just seemed more substantial. The extra gear in the scrotum felt that way a little, too, but the ponderous nature of the shaft was the best thing. I'd had years of atrophy and it was wonderful to feel fully male again.
After a while, it became the new normal and now I rarely notice it, but I've had my implant over 8 years. I still like the feeling of being bigger and heavier down there, but have to think about it sometimes to notice. I know that I'm no longer embarrassed to be naked in a locker room, as the flaccid state is much bigger than it was.
I don't feel like my dick completely hangs "flat", but it also doesn't ever look like I have a partial erection, at least not in my opinion. If I'm concerned, I can usually squeeze some extra fluid out of the cylinders after deflating. My doctor show me how to do a sort of reverse milking motion to get more of the saline back into the reservoir. You start with your index finger just below the head, and squeeze one finger at a time, moving the saline back up the shaft and back into the tubes and reservoir. When I take the time to do that, I'm still not quite as natural a "hang" as I'd like, but it's not bad.
I've seen picture here of guys with longer implants that have a more natural hang. I'm only about 6 inches, erect, and maybe that's not enough length for the cylinder weight to pull down more. I'm very happy with the implant, though, and don't think I look like I'm partially hard.

Re: Newbie Question re: deflated state
Welcome to the brotherhood BionicJohn
. I had exactly the same experience with PC and 100% nerve sparing robotic prostatectomy, performed by one of the top high volume surgeons in my country for that specialty. Unfortunately it doesn't always prevent ED and I don't think the reported stats or information available accurately reflect that. The doc's job is to save your life, which thankfully they can, but they tend to understate the quality of life issues that many of us then face long term.
I've only had my implant for 18 months but my experience is very much the same as Quincy's, and we both have an AMS LGX.
I also enjoy being much larger flaccid and yes, it does feel heavier walking around, but now I barely notice it.
Flaccid hang is not quite as flat as before but still looks natural IMO. Your Titan is known to take a bit longer to adapt to your body and can be a bit less natural flaccid, especially in the earlier stages of recovery, but should eventually settle in.
3 weeks is very early. I was 30% to 40% erect 24/7 for the first 6 weeks, which was an undersized raging boner.
After that I was able to start cycling and things slowly got better for discomfort, size recovery and natural hang. But it took months.
During that time it could sometimes feel like I was partially erect, which eventually faded.
Patience is a virtue for this and unfortunately there is no shortcut. I'm sure you will love it once everything falls into place.

Re: Newbie Question re: deflated state
Thanks for the replies and encouragement. LGXDownunder I 100% agree with your comments re: quality of life issues after RP. While I was aware of the risk, my Drs seemed to downplay it and basically said you’re in good health with no prior ED issues so no problem. I’ve had many second thoughts about treatment but at the time my primary thought was get it out.
I look forward to pushing through this recovery phase and being counted as another satisfied customer!

Re: Newbie Question re: deflated state
I have a Titan and it took months before my flaccid started to hang down below the 3 o’clock point.
Being inflated the first several weeks made it a challenge to conceal, at least less prominent. After several months of cycling the stiffness has relaxed somewhat. Now after I REALLY squeeze as much fluid back into the reservoir as I can then I can tuck straight down into my underwear/pants with less bulging. In the beginning pointed straight down was uncomfortable so I pointed to the left most of the time. Then I alternated left and right. Before implant I would point my penis down and to the left.
While naked my penis still doesn’t hang straight down but getting closer to 5 o’clock. I can press down at the end of my dick and see the Titan dog ears form near the base close to my body. When I stop pressing down it straightens out but at least in a downward direction versus 3 o’clock. Depending on how my dick positions itself from standing, sitting, bending down etc, dog ears folding could be noticeable uncomfortable. Not painful but enough to warrant an adjustment. Now I don’t think about it anymore.
Your journey may be different since I aggressively cycled my implant and reached flat bulb about 8 months after my surgery. Flat bulb indicates I have pumped all fluid from the reservoir into the cylinders. I think this also helped soften my cylinders.
All things considered getting the implant was what I needed and I have ZERO regrets.
I needed the implant without having my prostate removed. I have since been diagnosed with Gleason 3+4=7 cancer. I am doing active surveillance for as long as my doctor doesn’t advise removal or other treatment.
If you have any questions I know it helps to hear about what other men experienced. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
Your signature indicates 9/20/2026 is when you were implanted. Maybe you meant August.
I just realized today is my two year anniversary.
