Depends which pump you get: classic bs the Touch model. I have the classic and it’s definitely a learn skill. No way could I have deflated myself at three days. Too painful. Even at two weeks, when my urologist deflated me, it’s not something I could have done on my own yet. Things were still very sensitive. That being said, I’m currently 4 weeks post-op and recovered quickly overall. Began cycling pain-free at 3.5 weeks. I’ve got a handle on using the pump now but still learning. It’s definitely a skill that requires practice.

I also have the classic pump, and I found it very easy. The bars are long and easy to find. The only trick is that you have to squeeze BOTH bars together, pinching the pump. Pushing on one bar won’t get you anywhere.
IIRC Dr. Eid prefers the Classic pump, so that’s probably what you’ll get (you can always request it, too). The Touch pump has a smaller round button that some have said is a challenge to find, but I don’t have personal experience with it.

The button is tough to find until you find it, then it becomes easy as can be. Took me several tries, but mainly it was the soreness and swelling that kept me searching. Make sure to ask doc if he can show you a model of the pump.
Best of luck!

It's really helpful to go the website and look at video also look at the device itself so see what you are feeling
Believe post prostate surgery I was around 5 inches down from 6. Never measured girth but post titan otr 20 cm seems thicker.

Re: FINDING RELESE VALVE ON COLOPLAST ?
I got a sample pump with each of my implants so it helped to know what was inside and what I was feeling. With my first implant I started cycling and messing with it by a week and started cycling at two weeks with little pain. I did however get sore from the pumping and especially the pinching the release bars. Like others said it’s a learned process but most learn it easily over a few days or weeks . With my revisions my Dr puts the pump in a pocket that separates it from the nutz and makes it very easy to get to and feel. It’s completely below and behind nutz and doesn’t interfere with incision either. I’m not supposed to pump til 6 weeks but I have ever so slightly deflated and put a pump or two back in to the level he had me at post surgery. Can’t wait to start cycling. Give it time it will come natural after a few weeks or months.nothing to worry about.

Old Guy speaks the truth. It took me a long time after surgery to find the value. Once I did, it's easy peasy.
