Rigicon Infla10 X vs AX – Rigidity, Length & Angle

Postby ijskonijn » Sun Sep 20, 2026 1:57 pm

I’m from Belgium and recently had a consultation with Dr. Koenraad Van Renterghem. I’m scheduled to get a Rigicon Infla10 implant on October 1.

I had assumed I would be getting the Rigicon Infla10 AX, but after contacting his private practice, I was told that he routinely implants the Rigicon Infla10 X.

This surprised me, so I’ve been trying to understand the reasoning behind the choice.

I recently heard that in Belgium, and particularly in Flanders, the Rigicon Infla10 X is generally preferred because it is believed to provide more rigidity than the Rigicon Infla10 AX. I’ve also heard that this may be based on the assumption that the same principle applies as with the AMS 700 CX vs. LGX, where the CX is generally considered to provide greater rigidity than the LGX.

Apparently, urologists in Flanders apply similar reasoning to the Rigicon Infla10 X vs. Rigicon Infla10 AX, although I’m not sure whether this assumption is actually supported by experience or data for Rigicon.

I’ve also heard that in Wallonia, surgeons tend to use the Rigicon Infla10 AX instead. One possible reason for this regional difference may be the way urologists are trained. If a surgeon who trains other urologists has a strong preference for one particular implant or approach, that preference may be passed on to the doctors they train, who may then pass it on to the next generation.

A few questions:
  • If you have had both the Rigicon Infla10 X and Rigicon Infla10 AX:
    • Did you notice a meaningful difference in rigidity or resistance to bending?
    • Did you notice any difference in the upward angle/position when fully inflated?
    • Did you notice any actual difference in length gain between the two models?
  • If you have only had one of the two models, how would you describe its rigidity, resistance to bending, and upward angle when fully inflated?

  • My understanding is that the Rigicon Infla10 X does not have significant lengthwise expansion. Does this mean that the penis essentially remains the same length when the implant is deflated versus fully inflated, because the cylinders themselves do not change significantly in length?

  • For those with a Rigicon Infla10 AX, keeping in mind that with the Rigicon Infla10 X the penis essentially does not increase in length when the implant is inflated, do you notice a meaningful increase in penile length as you inflate the Rigicon Infla10 AX?

  • For those with an Rigicon Infla10 X, does the penis mainly become thicker when you inflate it, or do you also notice an increase in length?

I have an AX. It's rock hard. Penis does grow somewhat from flaccid to erect, but that just means flaccid is smaller than what an X. Erect size is the same.

Infla10 X is Rigicon's version of Coloplast Titan and AMS 700 CX, as in girth but not length, while AX is suppose to do the same as AMS 700 LGX which stands for "length and girth enhancement."

That being said, AX should be sturdier than LGX, but unlike with LGX, I'm yet to come across an AX implatee whose length exceeded his pre-op length.
65 yrs old.
ED since about 2000.
Just moved to Trimix from Edex few months ago.

Yes 'whatevery' is correct but from my research the difference is minimal, so I went with the AX. To early to know for sure but I am already happy with the AX and Rigicon
1955. I have had ED for years. We were planning to go for an implant in October 2024. Heart attack & Stent then prostatectomy. Finally 11/8/26 Rigicon Infla10AX 22cm

Hello, I had a Rigicon 10 X implanted by one of the best surgeons internationally, Prof. Dr. Osmonov (UKSH Lübeck). He says the stories surrounding the AX are just marketing; furthermore, the X model is very stiff and firm. I am very, very satisfied with it. I’ve seen an improvement in girth and also a bit in length.
I currently have a good length of 6.7 inches.

how is your tubing hiding? is it well hidden? i remember some comments from osmonov patients that the tubing was very noticeable. I wonder if it's true.

Also did you get covered by insurance? i tried to do an online consultation with osmonov and i was quoted 600 euros just for a call with him. Which is a crazy amount by any standard in the world
Implanted October 11, 2024, Dr Karaman. Infla10 AX 20cm +1cm RTE.

One disadvantage of the AX is number of pumps. I think you need a lot more with length expanding implants than those without.

My AX needs a lot of pumps. Too many really.

Chris is 100% right. Rigicon DIPP has a proprietary fourth layer, and according to scientific research, it will be durable and satisfying.
T1 diabetes. Progressive ED after a motorcycle accident. Rezūm, Trimix, then Rigicon Infla10 Pulse DIPP via Phantom technique. Grateful to my bionic brotherhood for helping me pull the trigger. Best decision I ever made, for me and my wife of 32 years.
