I’ve posted on this forum several times before. I’m still relying on pills, even at fairly high doses. Is there anyone here whose erectile dysfunction was mainly caused by psychological issues, such as depression or anxiety, who has had a significant improvement after getting a penile implant?

In general, once I manage to achieve penetration, everything goes well. The problem is that because of anxiety or depressive symptoms, I have difficulty getting an erection in the first place.

I take Viagra, but I’m honestly getting tired of relying on it and I’m looking for a more permanent solution. I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has been in a similar situation and decided to get an implant.

I used to think my problem was purely physiological but then I had a Doppler and a venous leak was found.

If viagra is working, I’d stick with that and look at getting a Doppler done. That will give you more information on how likely your issue is physiological vs a physical problem.

Stay on pills as long as they work. When they stop working, then consider implant. Was on pills for 12 yrs. Then trimix, then ipp. No regrets
