Your pump should be at the bottom of your scrotum. While taking your baths, gently pull down on pump to make sure it's not settling to high. Also, feel if the skin is starting to stick to it. If it is, gently, slowly try to peel it off.

Hi Raul,
I wish you the best of luck in your recovery. I'm 31, had the same exact issues with ED and same results from pills, about 7 years ago was diagnosed with a venous leak. My marriage was on the line so I couldn't postpone the implant any longer.
Had my surgery on 10/10/2014. My full account is in the thread "Joining the club" that I started yesterday.
I will speak to my surgeon today. My pump doesn't move freely around my scrotum and is fairly high up in it. When the scrotum is contracted (after applying ice to it) the pump reaches the bottom of it. But after a warm shower when the scrotum expands the pump stays where it was before and doesn't descend. I found out yesterday that the skin around the pump moves freely except in one place - at the bottom of the pump. It feels like the skin is stuck to the pump there. My doc never explicitly instructed me to massage my scrotum and try to pull my pump down. He did mention that he put a stitch so that the pump doesn't ascend, but I hope it's not what holds the skin at the bottom of the pump - I looked closely and I don't see or feel any stitches there.
Anyhow, keep us posted on your recovery mate. It might be a bit unpleasant at times but this will get us to a much better place when it all heals up.
- Anton.

Thanks Anton and ED2013...
Anton - i agree with you. I think we should patiently wait for 3 weeks for all the discomfort to go away. Once this phase is passed i hope we have a brighter future
Im really glad that you have a loving wife.
I'm 28 and messed up my earlier relations and honestly I didn't tried to stabilize as Im upset with myself.
Even though i'm having slight discomfort with errect penis for the last 8 days, i'm really happy with the way my penis looks and feels now. I now need not fear about my performance and can rise up for any occasion. This thing is really boosting up my confidence levels and I dont have to worry about ED anymore.
I hope we all pass through these rough phase (3weeks) and will enjoy our lives after that.
Good luck with your pump position and recovery.
Welcome to the club (Zac, Antonio, Raul, James)
Day 8:
Right now even Im slowed down with my recovery. I think I reached my healing threshold.
As of now I still have some minor swelling in my Penis head.
Penis is 70% inflated so it's still uncomfortable especially while walking.
But I'm laying down on the bed almost 20 hours. So as long as I lie down I don't have any pain except some itchiness near incision site and scrotum.
I cannot feel the deflate button. I have a visit tomorrow with my doc to go through the pumping cycles.
I really wish I could start doing the pumping cycles from tomorrow as this would be save me additional stay.
I strongly think that my pump got settled in the place where it should be, will get confirmed on this tomorrow, however i still cannot feel deflate button. I tried to press the pump but it's really sore.
My next goals are :
Walk without discomfort - I hope this goes away when I'm deflated
Feel deflate button and start pumping cycles
No swelling at Penis head

It takes time for the tissue swelling to go down around the pump. Until it does, it's just a big slippery mass. Before long you will be able to distinguish the pump bulb and deflate control easily.

Dave - Thanks for the note. My doc said the same thing to me and asked to give another 2 weeks.
Day-9:
Had my post op one week visit today with my doc. The doc said I had a great surgery and my Penis looks good.
He also confirmed that my pump settled in the right area, no bruising, no swelling (except in the glans and that too a little). I'm very delighted hearing that.
He showed me how to inflate and deflate. Damn that was horrible.
I was shaking a lot and he asked if I'm alright. I asked him to slow down for which he laughed.
He said to practice the cycling during hot tub bath twice a day on daily basis for the next 2 weeks and assured me the pain would go away after a few days.
Overall I'm very much impressed with Dr.Karpman's work.
I really appreciate him for all the artistic work he has done on me.
So far it's a pretty good journey for me. I'm happy for that and thanks to many who supported and gave assurance.
I hope I will have a smooth journey ahead.

When you first start pumping, your scrotum will hurt from you squeezing it. In time, it won't hurt at all.
Re: Raul's Journey-28Years-Single-Dr Karpman-14Oct2014-Out of US
I think I have the auto inflation problem.
I would say it's inflating to 40% after deflating completely.
I had mine deflated by the doc before leaving and it got inflated after 2 hours.
I deflated again.
Unfortunately it got inflated again.
Am I doing it right?
Is this something to be worried of?

My Titan has done this ever since it was implanted in 2008. I asked Dr. Kramer and he explained that this is normal: the larger portion of the cylinders is inside the body, and it is impossible to return all of the fluid to the reservoir when you deflate. The fluid that remains in the cylinders then migrates and reinflates you a bit. I'd prefer to be able to deflate more completely, but I've gotten used to it and it's no longer a concern.
