Disapointed after my first revision

Postby TheyCallMeDave » Thu Oct 29, 2026 3:36 pm

I went through my first revision after some leakage made my implant useless aroud 5 months ago viewtopic.php?f=6&t=28478&p=276055#p276055. Living in France, this time, I did not reach Hakky and went with my local surgeon and I must say that I regret I) not choosing a more seasonned surgeon and II) living in a country with such insane waiting time because the Titan 24 that painfully grew my dick 3 years ago was replaced with a 22+RTE. I know this sounds lame and childish and, deep down, I’m grateful that I could have a repair for so cheap but I grew accustom with my previous implant and I’m not sure what to expect now (surgery was this morning). My familly town (Lyon) also has a pretty amazing implanter in the public sector but with even worst waiting times.

For now on, I’m planing the next doc right after the surgery because earing him so happy with the surgery while I obviously regressed because of either his caution and the delay makes me hate my country and its ‘numerus clausus’ (basically the national yearly limit of medical doctor responsible for the state of healthcare in France). That could be the urinary catheter talking or the new abdominal incision he had to do to expand the reservoir cavity (meanwhile, he did not put much effort in the cavernosa) but I do not feel happy with the result and I just hope that I’ll be somewhere else, in another country, and richer next time I should get a revision.

I do not want to be the type of guy running from surgeron to surgeon for cosmetic reasons but is this implant survives for 10 years (like it is supposed to do), living with it and make my peace with the choice I made seems to the only available option. I have a dumb idea, though: what if susction based penile traction device extended my di** to the point of floppy glans at one point (working mainly form my place)? Do these things really work?

Anyway, if other Frenchs out there have some insight to give me on how to choose my next surgeon in France, I’m all ears. As for the others, reasuring growth stories and cold realistic consideration are welcomed (as always).
