My day of surgery is two weeks away, and I keep hoping I'm doing the right thing. One of the things going through my minds is, I hope my Medicare coverage will be good. From what I have been able to find out is it should be covered. Has anyone out there had an implant and Medicare has covered it. Just looking for reassurance.

I was implanted this April 3 and my surgeon told me Medicare is still covering implants. I also read a few guys here who recently had coverage with no problems with Medicare.
Don't look back, if you made the decision to have the procedure than it is the right one. Al of us bionic brothers take a long time, many questions, evaluations, and finally make an informed decision.
Once I made my decision I had no second thoughts and was just eager to get it down. After 7 months I can tell you it was the right move...

All I can say is you guys are so lucky to have Medicare. I never paid taxes or had a real job for that matter so I get what I deserve: Medicaid which pays for shit. I had to shell out 17 large plus in hundred dollar bills on the docs desk since I have no US bank account and am not suppose to have any money! Lmao:-)

Btw day 10 in the books post op. Finally a "little" less pain! No more pain meds last three days. Only concern now is getting the stitches out, learning to use the pump and burn a trail to hell for the next ten years. I want to go out of this life balls to the wall so to speak. The penis seems like it could penetrate even in the flaccid state! Pretty cool being a bionic man. 
Oldcar I think it is a good decision if you are sick of polluting your body with cancer causing chemicals. I was. It was either Trimix or the pills for me which I hated both. Just not worth dealing with all the side effects. This Titan I think is going to see a lot of action in the coming months and years. I just hope he "UP" for the challenge so to speak:-) best of luck Oldcar. The best advice I can give is have your own stash of pain meds. Don't count on your Dr to give you what you need no matter how great a reputation he has. Does he have an implant? If the answer is no he has no idea the pain involved. Just be forewarned this shit hurts in spite of what you may be lead to believe on this forum.

I guess I made it past day 11. Walking is labored. The pain in my tailbone is more pronounced today. I hope it goes away soon. Ball still hurt and the penis. The penis is now permanently between hard and flaccid. It takes some getting use to.
It seems uncomfortable but hopefully this will get somewhat easier to deal with. Stitches out tomorrow. Keep you posted.

Day 15 post op in the books. Pain 15-20 %. Much better than before. The release valve is still not mastered and tummy is still a bit sore. Stitches out and all looks good. This week is cycling. Keep you posted.
