I was implanted on 1/8/2015 with a Coloplast Titan. It was either a 22cm or 24cm (I can't remember which) with 2mm rear tip extenders. I had very bad swelling (think grapefruit) and a lot of bruising. The bruising and the swelling are now gone. Just before I left the hospital the doctor left me about 40% inflated. Since then there has been a considerable increase in girth (5-3/4") and length (I think).
The problem is, the only pain free position is straight up. When I have the penis pointing straight up it goes above my belt line and I can't get my pants done up. I can go straight down, however that starts causing a lot pain on the top side of the penis where it is starting to bend over the scrotum. Dressing to the left or right side does not work at all.
Whenever I am at home I sit on my recliner with just a light blanket over me from the waist down. That is the one time I get relief.
The upside is that it does does create a rather impressive tent.
I have left a message with the doctor's office.
Does anybody have any suggestions? I get activated in 4 weeks. I don't really want to put up with this for another month.

Re: Recover Issue
hello woodturner...
i was implanted back in July. same implant and same type scenario. i was about 4-5 months post op before i could position ANYWHERE that didnt become painful after a short period. now, at 6 months post op, i am able to tuck it down and keep it there without discomfort for long periods. i do think that learning to fully deflate was a big help, but time i think is the biggest contributing factor to comfortable placement IMHO...
i was an impatient subject. dont be like me...it will improve in time!

Thanks for the fast response. One thing I wasn't clear on was the 40% inflation the doctor left me with.
It is literally at least 95% as stiff as when I had a full erection in my 20s.
I have left a message with the doctors office that I would like to reduce the pressure a little bit. I realize it won't be perfect but I am hoping that it will help some.
I would do it myself but I had the surgery only 2-1/2 weeks ago. It is too soon for me to start experimenting without a doctor's approval.

Re: Recover Issue
Hi again!
like you, i went home with a partial erection (like 4 pumps or so), and like you it was plenty firm enough for use! it was uncomfortable for a few weeks but quickly eased off. my doctor inflated my implant with about 6-8 pumps during my 2 week checkup and that was a bit painful, but again quickly eased off. at my 4 week check up the doc released me with a full go-ahead. now, at six months out, i can fully inflate and deflate without any pain or discomfort, using 10-15 pumps.
patience and regular inflation/deflation will get you where you want to be!
admittedly, i was apprehensive initially with the discomfort and process, but time has cured all that and now i am a very happy and satisfied member of the bionic club!
good luck and God bless!!!

I understand what your are saying. However, I am a bit concerned that I may have auto-inflated. At 2-1/2 weeks after surgery both my girth and length are within 1/4" of what I was getting when I was using the Vacuum Pump on a daily bases along with a shot of Viagra to help things along.
Based upon a lot of entries I have read, most people talk about it taking several months.
I have an appointment with the doctor so he can take a look and let me know if he thinks it auto-inflated. If not, I will ask him to back it off down to about 30%
