Implant 2.0 v1

Postby gregorbehr » Mon Feb 02, 2015 7:03 pm

Doc says we gotta fix it! Playing the insurance game, since he's not in my insurance network to get approval for surgery next Monday the 9th (my birthday of all days)... so I can be on a flight on Thursday the 12th to the Netherlands! UGH!!!

After a botched first implant and a tricky but rather painless second implant, I thought I was good to go.
Yesterday while showering, I pulled back my foreskin to wash and noticed a bit of bruising sort of at the base of the head. Feeling around I easily felt the tip of the implant cylinder. It had shifted around and was very close the skin surface. Because of all the scarring I had, the tips never did quiet reach into the head, but they hadn't been any issue... until now. UGH!
Called the doc's office, he's booked until late March. I texted the doc directly and he called back within an hour... he had his office staff add me to his schedule for tomorrow.
While I knew the risks of trying a 2nd implant into such a heavily scarred penis, I was hoping to avoid any updates to it for several years. Now my greatest fear isn't a 3rd surgery, but him telling me it just isn't going to work out at all!
Thankfully it only tingles a bit, no real pain at all... I just wish I knew what caused the shifting around.

You can see the tip just beneath the skin surface in this pic...

SIGH....

2 TURP surgeries caused Peyronie's. 1st implant lost to infection, 2nd one is about 5 years old. But "floppy head" due to all the scar tissue, couldn't get tips all the way up.
