What Can Be Expected On My First Visit ?

For those of you that have been through the implant surgery, think back to your first visit. What can I expect when I have my first visit to Uro Dr.? Will there be exams, blood work etc. ? What would you like to have known prior to going in for the first time?

It's nothing major. Probably just go over your history with ED and your health in general. Go over basics of implants and probably stretch test to give an idea of your size after implant. Whatever bloodwork you need you should be able to go to lab at your own convenience after the tests have been ordered. Here's a tip: write down all your questions for your uro and bring them with you. That way you won't forget anything.

Pretty much everything Ed said. I had my first appointment yesterday with Dr. Karpman. He did the stretch test, showed me the implant, let me use it, answered questions, set up surgery and appointment dates, recieved a bladder scan... that was about it.

Hey NickNick, were both models available or just the brand the Dr uses?

Hi PC
He only showed me the LGX 700. He's an AMS surgeon so I'm sure he has the CX there as well.
