I am very disappointed also. I've never had anything to brag about in that area my whole life. I guess if I went into surgery with a 7 incher and came out with what I got I would be upset too. We have been thru a lot with cancer and loosing our manhood. So I understand where you are coming from. We all have to battle with depression and negative thoughts with all the changes we have had to make. We have had to endure some terrible physical pain and some pretty embarrassing moments thru all this. So I can see why you are mad and bitter. Trust me, I have wanted to go out in the woods and tell God what I think of Him a few times. Come to think of it I did one night. I was dragging a catheter bag wearing nothing but a robe asking Him where He was thru all this. I doubt I looked to terrifying to Him. LOL We are in this together, just keep pumping. Like my doc told me, when you think it won't pump anymore keep pumping till it hurts a little. That will stretch the girth and length but don't get over a pain level of two more than 10 mins, twice a day. If you find out where your doc left your other 2.5 inches let us know. We all need to find ours too. We are all in this together. TC

Although I have neither prostate cancer nor an implant, at my age I do suffer from E D and cardiac problems.

Pumping is an encourager of the heart when I look at my most prized private possession and see it extended and engourged to its former glory.

True, we are all in this together. If we had been told as boys what aging meant to our penises, we might have enjoyed our boyhood even more. But human nature tells me we as boys would have denied the possibility and not have given the messager of aging male bodies any additional thought.

Attitude is everything, especially as we age.

TC, thank you for your compassion. It makes me feel a little ashamed for complaining so much. I know many men have died from prostate cancer, yet I have zero PSA 3.5 years post PC surgery and am told I'm cured. So I am thankful for that. I made out much better than many men.

But unlike most PC surgery survivors I was left with total ED. I took my cure for granted and bemoaned the ED result of my cure. Then I went for the implant and bemoaned the result of that too. But now at least what I am left with gets really hard and useful, and the orgasms are awesome. I'm back in the ballgame. So I know I should be more appreciative. While RickRed's angry comments are hurtful, on reflection I have to acknowledge there is some truth in there... I should accept my new reality, be grateful and make the best of it. So in that sense, RickRed, your comments were helpful.

So today I pumped and pumped and pumped some more till my thumb and forefinger were begging me to quit, and so I measured and realized I'd regained a half inch of my loss. So I'll quit complaining and channel my energy into appreciation... and more pumping. I want to regain more ground.

Blessings to all you men who have travelled this unfortunate path. We straddle the anger of loss and the blessing of cure. And both are legitimate feelings.

To be totally honest my biggest fear with this surgery is loss of size. Of course just the idea of surgery and getting and infection is unnerving, but what really makes me hesitate is a possible size loss. I must admit that I am a vain man, and even though I have ED that makes sex sometimes quite a chore, when things work well enough I get a lot of compliments on the size, and I always enjoy that. We can all say that it doesn't matter, and to many people, it doesn't, and that is just fine. But it matters to me. I keep trying to wrap my head around understanding how there could be so much variation in size outcome, but I guess it's just a risk you take at the end of the day, and you have to be grateful for a fully functioning member regardless of final size. Also, I want to bring up a possibility that is almost taboo, and that many men here probably would not have considered:

Has anyone thought about girth augmentation via injectable filler? Now most of the surgical options are horrifically bad, but I have come across one injection procedure that has a pretty good track record. It's girth enhancement with pmma, (polymethyl methyl acrylate) which is more typically known for being used in the face, arms, and butt. Microspheres of the product are injected with a bovine collagen carrier, and once the carrier dissolves, the body walls off the foreign body by building collagen, which then increases the girth and heft of the penis. So even though you have a foreign body in there, the bulk of the material is formed by your own body, so it usually comes out looking and feeling pretty natural. A lot of guys have had it done and had good results. What do people think of this?

I had some curvature upward that remained after my implant. My doctor frankly said that he didn't think it would be so pronounced. He also said that he could fix it but cannot go under the knife again and take the risk of screwing up what I already have. Have any of you had to change your style or method of intercourse? One of my girlfriends likes to go up and down when she is on top and I'm only five and a half inches in the curvature effectively reduce is that some more. It seems that I'm most successful with the female on top and her sliding back and forth also that gives her quite an orgasm. I'm not complaining because beforehand I was injecting and it was hit or miss. now I don't have to worry about an erection adjust effectively interfacing with my partner.

With your curving upwards, my guess is that you'll come closer to reaching her G-spot than many of us could were we in your position. I suspect you have nothing to fear and she has everything to gain.

I was implanted with the Coloplast Titan in December 2007 after developing ED Post-Prostatectomy in February 2004.
My length is about the same as before but I have definitely gained girth with the Implant.
My wife and I love it and have been fully enjoying it for the past 7+ years.
I would be implanted again in a heart-beat!
