Thanks.

I just confirmed with the office that it will have to be a medical doctor. The search is on for one. I hope this does not drag on for a long time!

Easiest thing might be to just go have a physical done. It could even be that one of those Quick Care facilities could take care of it for you. Pretty much what the uro is looking for is an eval that you are healthy enough for surgery. I have some heart issues so i had to get a letter from that doc plus have an EKG done.
Best of luck to you. I remember when i was 3 wks away it seemed like it would never get here. Now im 5 wks post-op and things get better every day. I am officially a 'shower' instead of a 'grower' now and it feels great.
All the best

Thanks Mick.

I've asked the docs office for the exact tests required and will see if there is a doctor that can run these tests and provide a note stating that no issues are identified. I think this should be sufficient to serve as clearance without having to explain to them that I am seeking an implant, etc. Will confirm this with the docs office but hope it will be sufficient. I really want to get this done - literally thinking of it almost every minute of every day

I know what you mean. I was the same way - anxious to get it done. Dont recall from your thread but are you doing any stretching or using a vac pump? If not it can really help both maintain your length and keep it loosened up. During surgery your doc will stretch you as far as possible to get the longest possible implant. If you dont have a vac pump you can try jelqing instead.
It will all work out and be over before you know it.

I was using a pump which helps to promote girth but Dr. Eid mentioned it would not really affect the ultimate implant size. He did say he would size me based on the injection he performs and I usually get a pretty healthy size if I am responsive to it. I was definitely going to continue kegels though and I have been using one a day cialis as well to promote blood flow. I will probably call the doctor and ask if I should quit the cialis...have no clue if it would impact the amount of blood etc during surgery and put me at a higher risk of infection but I may likely cut it out once I get a confirmed date and medical clearance.

The doc will probably give a list of do's and dont's and when that should start. I wasnt allowed to take any kind of med that thins the blood 10 days prior (like ibuprofen or aspirin). Just follow the doc's instructions to a T. You are literally in the best hands in the business with Eid.

Thanks, that's comforting to know.

I am hoping to get the medical clearance stuff sorted in the next week or so. There is a potential appointment slot for the surgery in early September so trying my best to hit that target.
