Bruising!

Postby derrickman » Sat Sep 12, 2015 8:12 pm

It has been 5 days since my implant and I am wondering if my fellow implant patients have some of the same problems I seem to be having.Very large and purple bruising up and down the penis if this is normal how soon before subsiding? Also the pain has been controllable to a degree but the bruising is quite scary.I did not get to speak with the doctor as I was in recovery room long after he had departed the building.Anyway although it is only 5 days I am wondering if I screwed up on this.I thought I had prepared my mind many months ago and did much research thru this sight. As far as my work I can take off as long as needed although I had hoped 2 weeks I can go back and make a showing ,hopefully concealing the damage with some loose pants.I f anyone can respond to this I would be most grateful.Derrickman

The bruising is very normal and common. Mine showed up about 3 days post-op, but was pretty much gone in 10 days. Don't worry about it at all.

I was similar. Bruising started appearing day after surgery and was almost gone within about 10 days.

Judging by others and from experience - perfectly normal.

Lots of bruising here. Very normal and not harmful. Brusing was pretty much gone after 2 weeks.

I had lots of bruising for about two weeks, used up a lot of ice packs then cleared up.

Do as Jelizondo12 says... use lots of ice! That's what I did and helped a lot!

Yes. Very normal. I'm over 6 wks out and I still have visible darkness on testicles and half way up penis. Soreness is almost gone tho. Lots of ice.

The posts here are encouraging. It takes time. Three days out the penis is looking pretty bruised but the pain is mostly in the scrotum. Laying down with ice packs almost no pain, sitting up the pain in the testicles is pretty tough right now. :x
