AMS 700 LGX -18 cm Cylinders w/ 4cm Rear Tip Extenders

Postby LGWAPO » Fri Oct 16, 2015 11:33 pm

Its been six weeks w/out a full inflation due to my slow healing process I feel fine other than some sharp pain when the doctor attempts to pump my implant. Because of my present condition , I have yet to see the size of my bionic Power Thruster. Big Question: My AMS I.D card shows that I have 18 cm x 12 cm cylinders and 4 cm rear tip extenders. Is there any way to estimate what I can expect in terms of the "initial length" my PT?

Maybe your doc can provide an estimate. The total length of the device including RTE's is irrelevant. The crucial question, which neither you nor anybody here can answer, is how much of the total length is inside your body.

Okay, this is just a guess but generally holds true for a properly installed device where there are no complicated circumstances beyond the ED itself.

It will likely be 0" - 1/2" shorter than it was when fully erect. A vacuum device erection doesn't count, these always produce more temporary length.

Interesting discussion. I have a question. I had 15cm cylinders (12 cm circumference) plus 3 cm rte's implanted. That tells me that the total length of the implant was 18 cm. The LGX is available with 18cm cylinders so why choose the 15's with 3cm of rte's and not 18cm cylinder and no rte"s?

Tubing placement near pubic bone, and final adjustment for maximum length.

I wouldn't hazard a guess. This is just one of those wait and see deals.

I asked Dr. Milam about tip extenders since a guy told me his were painful to sit on. Extenders do not deflate like the tubes. He said it is unusual but if he can get by w/o any he does and uses as long an implant as possible to minimize the length of the extender. He only uses 1 extender per tube. He does not stack them like some docs. d
LGX 21cm .Milam 01/13/16. Horror; both service and surgical outcome. hated infrapubic installation. Kramer revision 03/01/17. 22cm Titan +1.5cm extender. Those who think their opinion is the only one that matters are a danger to themselves and others.

Sounds like you have 22 cm plus the extra length of whatever glans (head of the penis) tissue beyond the cylinder tips for about 9 plus inches. Subtract 2-4 inches for the portion inside and you have likely bone pressed length. Since the LGX over time will grow by up to 20% in lenth depending on how your doc sized the cylinders to fit exactly or with a bit of room for growth you could get back part of that hidden length subtracted as the cylinders can theoretically grow by 20% or 4 cm. Until you have inflated for 6 months or so you wont really know what length the finished product is. However whatever length it will be hard!!! And useful! :-)

Revision 5/3/2021 AMS CX 700 21cm+2 cm RTEs.
Revision 2022 Titan XL 24 cm no RTEs.

Many thanks for all the input fellas. I'm going to give this "mortal to bionic" conversion process some time. I'm getting the clear message that it will all be worth it.
