Recommended VED Devices
Re: Recommended VED Devices
I'm joining the bionic brotherhood in January and my doc told me to pump twice a day and for my Peyronies to use the traction device. It's not an easy regimen because I also work. But every indication from what I've read seems to point to the fact that all the preparation will be worth it in the (long) run.

How do you manage the traction device? I've had people tell me they have to wear them 7-10 hours a day. I cannot get my head around doing that and working. Thanks. d

Re: Recommended VED Devices
I wish I knew more about the traction devices before I started out on this adventure. I asked my primary VA urologist about them some time ago and he had never heard of them. He went on to say that it wouldn't work anyway. Since he had never heard of them before, I doubt he knew what he was talking aoubt, but that was back when I trusted the VA. It sure would have been nice to get back a lost inche or so before this new inplant was installed.
Since I'm retired, I wouldn't have any problems wearing it all day. Personally, I think a combination of vacuum and traction may have just worked for me. I've lost so much length and girth that it bothers me mentally. It'll be a while (after I have lots of good sex back under my belt) before I stop being bothered by this. I'm always embarrassed now when a doctor tells me to drop the shorts, but apparently I'm still normal sized weather I believe it or not. I always end up making an uncomfortable joke about my penis size for some stupid reason. Obviously I'm very ashamed or self-conscious about it. I wouldn't dare want to shower at the gym around others now. I know it's all very stupid, but I'm not mentally healed or at peace with it at all. However, I still say that a small working penis is better than a large limp penis.
Maybe someday it won't bother me anymore, but it does for now. [/endrant]
