But a few hours later, yes it hurts.
On the other hand I'd say I have experienced far worse pain from other issues over the years.
I think this pain is just different because it's in the dick. It's mentally tougher to have pain in your genitals than in a shoulder or a knee.
Now it's been 4 days and the pain is not bad at all. Already a big difference.

Great! Keep us posted!

By the way, I'm what you would consider a "grower"-- my unit is really small when flaccid (about 2-3 inches) but grows to 6 inches when erect. Is that something that would cause some problems during the surgery?

Good news for you then. I also am small and was turtled, hidden, whatever you want to call it, with only the tip of the glans barely showing before surgery. I am no longer. Although I am not really heavy, about 160, a lot of fat accumulates in the pubic area when you are older and that tends to bury the penis as well. My LGX has unburied me. Laying supine lets gravity work in your favour as well as the fat sinks downward exposing more of the shaft for an even better result.
