How many of you had natural erections where the skin was stretched tight when you were hard and now with an implant, have enough loose skin that it would flap like a dogs ears if you hung it out the window of a speeding car?

How many of you have tight skin now after an implant?

Mine used to get so tight I would get little skin tears. Now it has so much loose skin in a wind it would probably beat you to death like clothes on a clothes line. On a good note, it does appear I can pull the loose skin up and stuff it full of saved quarters for the toll booths.

As I said just recently in one of your other threads, I know a famous surgeon who says no AMS implant will ever work well in a man with a really thick penis, simply because the cylinder dimension is not enough to fill up the penis.

Maybe he's got a point, since if I do remember right, you had a huge one on your heydays.

And to answer your question, no, I don't have any loose skin hanging around. If I inflate without arousal, my foreskin (I am not circumsised) won't be tight and stretched, but with arousal I'd say the difference from a good natural erection is minimal. The skin of the shaft though is tight always. Inflated, deflated, horny or not.

Could it be that you still have swelling and need more healing? Mine is definitely wrinklier post-op though it has got very slightly better (it's been now been 2 and a half months post-op).

merrix, you made a good point to know. Everyone told me the LGX would expand and fill the girth. Milam said that would never happen. No-one other than you told me thick needs Coloplast. Jan 12th I commented after seeing and touching an AMS that I was surprised how skinny the cylinders were but had no idea which model I was holding.
Cannot find a position to hold my dick out the window to see it it blows up like a dogs jowls or flaps like their ears while going down the highway. I should get a convertible.

The answer is my skin is loose, perhaps because I am natural (uncut). I did notice that after IPP my foreskin remained over the glans almost 100% of the time. pre surgery, it stayed behind the glans about 70% of the time. While I was inflated immediately post surgery, I was actually pulling the foreskin over the glans to avoid chafe. After about three weeks post surgery, it is remaining behind the glans mostly. I think Mothemean is right. I'd just let things settle down, give it some time and don't work poor "willie" too much.

Sorry about the chafing. I understand it well. Cut here but I often wore a baby sock over it to keep it from getting sore when working. All my new found loose skin stays bunched up behind the glans too

Both AMS & Coloplast come in standard size offerings but can be ordered to spec. if such order is placed. If you have 7.5" or more, Titan is usually preferred by most Docs. I'm a person with an extreme girth measurement and have always had a custom size and tubing length as well. Some people need a custom order to accommodate their particular anatomy requirements. If you happen to have very large girth and property sized implant, the AMS is very hard and tight too. It's long and skinny that aren't as ridged when comparing AMS to Coloplast. Thick makes it very hard with either brand. Proper sizing is key, and many doctors are too conservative in my personal opinion. Been there, done that... Also over aggressive sizing causes as many or more problems than undersizing. It's a delicate balance and results in MANY needed revisions.

I started off pretty well above average. I've lost a lot, but I'd say I'm about average now (just guessing, to scared to actually measure). I'm guessing I'm about 6-3/4" long these days. Girth is such that I can't circle my fingers to a closed grip around the lower 1/2-3/4's of the shaft. I can at the glans though when not fully engorged.

Smaller... Yes, sadly it is... Loose skin, no, but my doc did do some plasty work to remove it.

It's noteworthy to mention that I had no loss of size with the first 3 Titan implants, and I have recovered a lot of my lost size with the latest AMS implant. Still not the baseball bat it us d to be, but it works well, and it's still large enough that I'm not embarrassed in a locker room. It looks average to slightly above IMHO.

I'm very happy with my current situation. And this implant has indeed expanded in length & girth. I'm hoping for more (aren't we all) but not particularly concerned. I've seen so many days/months/years where it wasn't usable at all. Now Im Grateful that I have a great working penis that satisfies us all. Me, the wife, the docs. No regrets about this one.
