I'm proberly due a revision...

Postby ldnboy » Thu Feb 18, 2016 6:16 pm

Please tell me it won't be as painfull as having the full op!!

I will most likely need my inflatable cylinders corrected.

If anyone has had a similar revision please let me know :)

Well...a revision IS the full op, but in my case the revisions were far less painful than the first surgery. If nothing else I knew what to expect.

I agree with KMeister. My first surgery hurt like hell. The second was to remove the first Titan and replace with a malleable; moderate pain. The third, to implant an AMS LGX, was a piece of cake in comparison: very little pain and quick recovery.

The conventional wisdom is that perhaps Perito is the highest volume "primary" surgeon in the world, and Kramer does the highest number of revisions in the world. The guy in new york (Eed or Eid) has a huge practice. Still the highest volume surgeons are all good at revisions, I think traveling to a top guy is worth it. I'm reading a lot about Karpman, Levine, and a few others too. I went to Dr. Kramer, he's a phenomenal surgeon, I knew it from his videos and website which left no doubt in my mind, with everyone else it was indirect evidence.
Lastly, revisions may be easier, you already have a nice space in there. I'd think you'll have an easier time.
