All I have been taking is the ibuprofen and ice bag. Had a shower and first time seeing it black and blue (I didn't see when the doc took out the catheter and the drain). Walked a bit around the house but other than that, ice and rest for the day.

Sounds very good so far.
The pillow between the legs is a good one, it helped me a lot as well.
My dick looked terrible post op as well. Actually the scrotum looked even worse.
If I am entitled to an advice, just based on my personal experience, then it'd be to just take it slow and easy. Don't rush anything. Let it all take its time. Better being over cautious and delay things a week or two than rush to get back to normal routines a week sooner and just risk something.
Keep taking care and wish you all the best in your recovery.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments! Yes, I will be taking it easy and will not be in a rush to inflate it. Right now, it is too sensitive to even touch but it is getting better everyday. I can't wait to finally sleep on my side! I have tried to sleep with a pillow in between my legs but it still is not comfortable so sleeping on my back is the only option. I am hoping the brusing doesn't last too lon g past the 2 week mark.

Best wishes for a speedy and increasingly comfortable recovery. The Titan looks lovely having seen and examined a sample.

I slept on my back with a pillows under my legs. With a toweled Ice pack under each ball with a pack on the shaft and only changed them when they melted.

There are some macho people on FT who SAY they stop taking their meds way to soon for me. I do not like pain so I took my meds, even took one a couple of hours before my appointment to be inflated. I took my meds as long as I needed them letting my body tell me when to stop using them.

I journaled my observation at "Post-Op: What I Know Now"

I have been told by professionals that the body actually heals better when it is not in pain. It is not concentrating on alleviating pain, but instead focusing on healing. And yes; we all walk like John Wayne for the first few months.

Day 6: Sorry that I didn't mention anything on day 5 but not much has changed. I went out for the first time to a store since this surgery (or out period) and it was a little uncomfortable. I had some aching in the sack area since it was still big, bruised, and swollen. Tried driving the next day since I have been off the pain pills for a few days and not really ready yet for that either. Today, it seems less swollen and I can feel the pump now. Still black and bruised but not as bad as before. I am hoping the bruising will go away soon since I will be returning to work again soon. My doctor told me in week one or 2 to move the pump around so the scar tissue will not get attach to it. Does anyone know how often you need to move the pump around so it is "free"?
Thanks,

I was advised to pull my pump down to the bottom of the scrotal sack the day after the implant and daily thereafter. DonBecker posted that his alternate doc told him after 2 weeks it could no longer be moved. I am at 55 days now and mine seems to be quite fixed in position now. Great to hear you are feeling well enough to be about. My healing improved quite rapidly after about 1 1/2 weeks. You do feel it the days you overdo it. Today I worked in the yard to 6:40 p.m. and had no issues related to the implant all day. I am so sore I can barely move otherwise but the implant gave me no issues. Be well sir!

Day 7. Pain is better but I can't seem to be able to move the pump around at all. My doc told me to move the pump after about 2 weeks but now after one week, I am able to feel the pump since my scrotum is not as swollen. Is this something to be concerned about? It seems that there is something between the pump and the skin. I tried moving it but it is still a little sore down there. Thanks for any advice.

Day 8: The pain is getting less but it is still there. Where the pump is at is the source of the pain\ discomfort. The skin right next to the pump is rough and feels like something is between the pump and the skin. I tried movi g the pump and was able to a little bit. I still can't tell what part of the pump I am touching. Over all, a better day since I was able to drive without too much pain. I am talking ibuprofen and Tylenol with ice pack at night.

Hello everyone,

I have not been in here for a few months but everything is going alright. Next week, I go see my url and test this thing out! The swelling has gone all the way down and no longer black and blue. I can feel the pump but not too sure where the release valve is on this pump. I have notice that I have some pain now and again at the tip of my penis. It feels like the tip of the extender is rubbing when I touch it. I also feel the "tubes" inside my penis when I touch on the outside skin of my penis if that makes any sense. Is that normal and will that go away once I start pumping this thing on a regular schedule?
