The only thing I don't see mentioned Terry is the trial of injections. Some use those and like them. I used them for a year or so and the erections were amazing. Unfortunately the erections wouldn't go away at times to the point of concern I would be going to the ER. I ultimately didn't like them so switched to implant. As much as I had great results with Dr Kramer and couldn't be happier I always say you should look into all the options so no matter the outcome of your implant you didn't really have a viable choice. Health is something that can make surgery a risk but age especially only 74 should never keep you from looking into an implant. Congrats on having a supportive wife that wants you better! That is so important. Definitely research all your choices and if you decide to join the club be sure you pick your surgeon wisely. And remember 74 in good health is good health and your age shouldn't be an issue.
66 year old with ED intermittently for years and consistently for the 2 years before implant. Tried everything. AMS CX 21cm+1 cm RTEs Dr Kramer 4/29/2015.
Revision 5/3/2021 AMS CX 700 21cm+2 cm RTEs.

Appreciate all the good replies. Sorry I neglected to mention injections. Yes, I tried many different formulations. We never liked the lack of spontaneity, but apparent curvature starting scared me away from continuing to use injections.

No way are you foolish. I got my implant at 76. I so wish I had done it long before I did. For what it's worth my uro told me the oldest man he implanted was 82.
It has worked well for both of us. My wife, in fact, loves the feel. I did loose just a tad but gained in girth. So, go for it. You will never regret it.
80 yrs. Married 60 years. Hypertension but under control with meds.

ED since 1995. Viagra then switched to Cialis. Both quit working.
Was on Trimix. Tri-Mix quit working. Implanted by Dr. Novak Grand Rapids, Mi 12/16/2014 AMS LGX
