Figured out a bit of pain issue.

Postby alibaba » Thu Mar 31, 2016 1:37 pm

From the surgery day forward I would get soreness in my urethra. It was really bad first few days and horrid with the catheter. I finally figured out what it is from. The cylinders are spaced widely apart from the root of the penis to mid shaft then start moving together. Just before the glans they are so close together that you cannot feel any space between them. The tips are so close in the glans that it feels sometimes like they are about to overlap or switch sides. When I pump the cylinders they a pinching the urethra. Another reason I have to force to pee unless I can get it deflated as much as possible. Yesterday I found if I work hard at trying to get some space between the tips, then the pain suddenly ceases. As soon as I turn loose they slap back together and the burning pain starts again. I can only keep this thing pumped up for about 1 or 2 minutes due to the pain now and even deflated it is near enough constantly to hunt for the pain med bottle. 76 days out I would expect things getting better than worse. It is not helping things that the tips either seem to be moving or the glans is. Now our attempts to have sex result in the never engorges glans folds backward over the top side of my penis. First time was "what the hell?" Now when I pump it up I can take a finger and flop it over backward over the rest of my dick. trying to go in and out it is bend flop bend flop. the tips seem to be more toward the bottom side of the glans now which probably contributes more to it pinching the urethra.

When deflated I get pain mid shaft, especially when I am on my feet. Not figured that out as it is something new the last few days. It is not the burning type like the urethra pinch.

No doubt moving the tubing and pump would help the other issues. The pump attached to "testicular tissue" on the right nut is getting to be more of an issue all the time too. Getting hard to get my thumb between the 2 to deflate.

Hope to get to NY to get an assay on this thing to sort the best option to repair and get it done.

I would think you be much better by 76 days also. With my first (botched) implant my pain abated a bit over the months but the occasional "stabbing" pains continued. Finally, I had an issue with pump (actually release valve) migration to where 9 or so months later I lost "access" to the one of the deflate buttons...... Leaving me about 60% inflated for the next several months until my revision.

With the urethra, holding the tips as you have been might be a kind of "modeling" and might have longer lasting effects as you try it more. My "modeling" was essentially to keep my dick straight instead of going back into the "bend" that it had for a year after my first implant.

Try to "live with it"..... I did that until I couldn't...... Then the revision.....

Good luck....

Now I am guilty of layman's speculation again - as is always the case btw here on FT - but how is it possible that the cylinders come together at the tip?
If there is one cylinder in each cavernosa, then it must mean they have eroded through the cavernosa and now 'share' the glans?
On the other hand, you say they don't go far enough into the glans (since you can 'fold' your glans back), so erosion forward doesn't seem likely either.

Your case certainly is an odd one my friend.
I still say that your best chance of ever getting this to work is to go to Eid, let him redo it and then don't even touch a pubic hair till he says so.

Good luck.

If I could explain it I would be a master doctor. You can easily feel the cylinders. From the pelvic area to mid shaft they are about 1/4" apart then start getting closer to the point the touch each other at the glans. If you work and knead between them you can get a slight gap when flaccid and that relieves a lot of pain. I only took pain meds a few times post surgery. At this point I cannot pump it up without pain meds nor can I get through the day without pain or some sort of pain med. VERY VERY frustrating trying to work when the only thing on your mind is your throbbing dick. I tried taking some pictures after I pumped it up last night. Will see if any of them are any good.
