Pump position

Postby orp1999 » Mon Jul 18, 2016 11:39 am

I had my implant done 6/16/16
My question today is: With the Coloplast OTR does the pump orientation stay put?
By that I mean does the release button position always remain on the same side?

Thanks

I can only comment from my experience. I am 1 yr 4 months post op by Dr. Eid in NY. Pump has remained in the same configuration. It appears to have dropped a bit lower in the scrotum, however very easy to palpate and operate. Maybe just because everything (cylinders, pump bulb, tubing) has become a bit more relaxed and pliable over time. Or could simply be its been very warm here in Atlanta and that tends to do the same.

My LGX pump has rotated over the past year so the deflation button faces my right side instead of the front. It is actually a lot easier to locate and operate in that position, for me at least.
