Guys,
I am in conversation with a market developer for AMS - the largest implant maker. I am trying find out what you would have wanted to know the whole implant thing - mostly when you were in the exploratory phase.
When you were just thinking about an implant -
Was there info you did not know? did not trust?
Were you more worried about the doctor? the implant? reliability?
Did you trust the product? What rumors had you heard? Did you feel you were ever being "sold a bill of goods?"
Basically, if you were sitting across the table from this rep from AMS - what would you like to tell them - especially when it comes to helping the next guy down the pike?
Would love to hear what's on your mind.
Paul

I agree with everything Mike says plus I have a couple of things.
1. The AMS website is way out of date. They still list the old Ultrex. Thres is no mention of the LGX on the web site you have to go to www.amslgx.com to find it.
2. They recommend the AMS CX on the web site for men with peyronies. Dr. Milam and others have proven that the LGX will straighten a peyronies curve. Like Todd Doran PA-C told one of the interns at my one year check up. "All our peyronies patients come out like Jack, a straight erection that points straight out. Looks and feel normal."
3. Doctor education. There are lots of "implant specialist" that claim the LGX will not lengthen the penis for men that have shrinkage from peyronies or PCa. I have peyronies and am living proof thet the LGX has lengthened my penis 1" in the 18 months after surgery. Can I get 100% of my length back, no, but I have gained 90% of it back.
4. Most of the men I have contact with the first time are scared to death. They read all the bull on the internet about deformed penis, lost 2" of length, and conditions after like floppy head (glans). It is true that some have floppy head because the doctor undersized the implant or used a implant that does not expand in length. I asked my local urologist that sent me to Vanderbilt why does Dr. Milam do so many revisions. He told me, "Most doctors do not get it right the first time." Less than 10 doctors in the US do 80% of the implants, Why can AMS not have a referral service for those of us that have MAJOR PROBLEMS like, peyronies, PCa, venous leakage, corporal fibrosis and severe ED. From what I understand besides Dr. Milam there are only 1 or 2 other in the entire US that have the quilifactions he has.
I could go on but this is my outlook.
