My first one had total bills coming in at just over $50K.Medicare paid a little over $24K.Not sure what my second one is going to cost.I was told by Dr. Kramer that just the implant from AMS is $10K.

Hi rent guy
I was under the impression that Medicare would pay 80%. Why did they pay so little in your case?

You misunderstood what I meant.Even though the doctors and hospital bills totaled over $50K Medicare would not pay more than around $24K.I was never billed any difference, the only thing the implant cost me was the initial doctor visit about getting an implant.Medicare wouldn't pay for that but yet did pay for the transplant.I had already met my deductible for the year.

Think they told me about $500
No hospital. Outpatient.
Also depends on place where you have it done.
Hospital or other place.
Thinking of getting implant. Have not done it because of the length I
have lost.

Nothing, fully covered
Implanted March 2nd by Dr. Kramer with AMS/LGX. Had a problem lower left (scar tissue) and he placed a larger (thicker) implant as you can here on the YouTube video. Got all back, ED over 10 years before Implant.
